ScentsAbility Candles — Local services in Lauderhill

ScentsAbility Candles is such an amazing organization filled with many wonderful people making a difference in our communities. I had the privilege of attending a candle making networking workshop. I learned so much about this nonprofit and their passion for creating opportunities for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) to create, teach and inspire others through touch, smell, sight and sound. I was invited to attend a ladies group event at ScentsAbility last week. It was truly an amazing experience. Bonnie was kind enough to tell us about the Iddeal Foundation and their goals....such a wonderful organization! Everyone was also very helpful and friendly. They taught us how to make beautiful candles. Additionally, the candles they sell are amazing - so I was excited to bring some home (difficult to choose scents - because they all smell awesome!). I just love this place! I have done many candle parties but I have to say this last one with gel candles is my favorite so far. Not only do you get to support an amazing organization and business but you also get to personalize your candle beyond the scent. We did an ocean theme for our gel candle party.
