we ordered three platters today for takeout and the food here is disappointing at BEST. To be honest, I am absolutely livid that I've ordered from this establishment today. I checked their menu online prior to calling in our order (screenshot posted in the photos) and we decided on two combination platters (listed at $7.95 each) and a steak/chicken hibachi platter (listed at $9.25), nothing special or extra. When I went to pick up the food, the lady behind the counter charged me over $45 as our total! When I asked about the discrepancy in price, all she had to say was "here's an updated menu" as she put it into my bag. I got home and checked the updated menu (photo attached); the combo platters are listed for $10.95 each and the hibachi chicken/steak is listed at $12.45. That gets us to ~$34.50 add tax and it shouldn't be more than $40.. I have no idea where they get off with stealing money from people, but thats not even the worst part. The worst part was the food! The hibachi comes with CANNED CARROTS (I swear, I could not make this up, check the photos) on top of sticky white rice with a watered down, nasty sauce on the side. The fact that they call this "fried rice" is just embarrassing. The general chicken has a kick to it, but is nowhere close to what it's supposed to look/taste like. It is very clear that the people cooking in this kitchen are not authentic cooks and the person running the pricing/marketing/front of house is either horrible at math or an absolute crook. Overall an incredibly disappointing experience and would 100% not recommend visiting this establishment

My husband ordered hibachi shrimp & scallops, my daughter ordered teriyaki chicken & broccoli with lo mein & I ordered Chinese chicken & broccoli with lo mein. I was a little surprised that it was $3 to substitute rice for lo mein. However, the lo mein was very good. My husband loved his sushi appetizer plus complemented the rice they used. It was mashed or something? He did not like his entrée or their version of white sauce. My daughter said she enjoyed the steamed dumplings, but the sauce was a bit odd, and her entrée was good. I didn't try the sushi, but I did eat a dumpling. It was ok, but I would probably try the fried dumplings in the future. The chicken in my entrée was a bit dry but had a good flavor with broccoli cooked just right. I will give them another try with different choices. The menu has multiple options to explore.

Good local Japanese & Chinese restaurant. Food was tasty across the board and served hot & fresh (had seafood in spicy sauce, beef fried rice, teriyaki chicken, and sweet & sour chicken - all good). Prices are reasonable for dinner and very good for lunch specials. Service was friendly and attentive. Very flavorful dishes with a varied menu with lots of choices. Atmosphere is good enough for what it is (a converted fast food place). Nice place to have in Laurens!

I loved this restaurant! As of December 2022, the establishment was sold. The previous owner and staff were professional, pleasant and overall provided great customer service. The new staff are rude, racist to individuals who are not white, and overall exceptionally unprofessional. I placed my order over the telephone for pick up. When I walked into the restaurant there was one waitress standing at the counter, and a person behind the counter, and after standing at the counter for at least 3 minutes, no one bothered to say hello, ask if I needed any assistance; NOTHING. A group of white young adults walked in and suddenly, the waitress turns to say hello, with a very pleasant smile and demeanor. As this was happening, someone was walking from the kitchen to stand behind the counter. I then turn to the waitress and say, in a very calm manner, "wow, I've been standing here all this time and not once did you say anything to me.' She gives a look of embarrassment and says nothing. At this time, the woman who walked from the kitchen says, "Can I help you?" I then say to her "Hello", with a very particular level of polite sarcasm. She subtly rolls her eyes, then says, "hello, how can I help you?" I then say, you know....I use to come to this restaurant all the time. The previous owners were very friendly and professional. I walk in today, no one says anything to me, I"ve been standing here all this time and then when the group behind me walks in, they're greeted. Is this how we do business here? The waitress then says, "I'm sorry", and then the woman behind the counter says, I'm sorry mam, can I help you?" (not even genuinely but condescendingly) I then say, "no, thank you", and walk out. This restaurant will never see my business, and I'm going to be sure to share my experience with everyone I know, so that they won't have to experience the level of disgust I experienced today. You can buy a lot of things, but you can NEVER buy class or professionalism. TRASH...
