Little Mia's Pizza — Restaurant in Lavallette

Ordered for takeout and was told 45-50 minute wait - okay no problem it’s dinner on a sunday they must be busy. Total after phone call was 90 minutes. When originally called in asked if there was breading on the wings as one of our guests had a gluten allergy and we were told no just fried. Cool so ordered 2 orders and they were breaded (if you don’t know ask someone in the kitchen). Ordered a gluten free pizza with arugula prosciutto and balsamic glaze - no balsamic glaze pizza was dry and tasteless didn’t even eat it. Prosciutto was not real prosciutto it was more of a ham and not good (cheap). Called and asked for a refund on the pizza and wings because of what was stated above they sent a driver to pick up the items in order to issue a refund. Also it is Covid time and how busy you are, you tie up a driver to pick up food you are going to throw out all for a $20 refund? Speaking of a refund I was promised it is now 5 days later and no refund. Don’t waste your time the rest of our food wasn’t...

Absolutely horrific experience and customer service. Placed our order at 7:27pm. Was told it would be ready for pickup at 8:12pm. We arrived for pickup at 8:10pm. After 10 minutes we asked where our order was, we were dismissively told it would be ready in "a few minutes". We stood until 9:00pm, being COMPLETELY ignored and brushed off after asking where our food was; it was NOT even made. At that point, we kept asking to please just cancel and give us a refund, to which again, we were completely ignored. After standing for 50 minutes, we finally get our orders, with a slice of cake slapped on the top for free to make up for it. Honesty and attention would have been nice, but what we were given was hostility, and an incredibly long wait time. Do NOT order here unless you want to spend half of your vacation standing and waiting. Also, the Stromboli we were given had undercooked bread, and was missing...

We ordered a Sicilian Pie from Mia's Lavalette NJ for delivery at 4:47pm and was told delivery would be 45 minutes so we waited no pizza not its 5:45pm called Mia's asking about our order I was told it left the store once again we waited still no pizza it's now 6:30pm called again agwas informed by the delivery man he was the only one working this is not the drivers fault for taking 2 and 1/2 hours to deliver.The blame lies on Mia's for not taking responsibility for not having more drivers on Sunday night we should have been given a refund the Sicilian Pie was disgusting ice cold dried out and tasteless. We have order in the past and have never experience a problem someone needs to be reprimanded for this error.
