Pedroca's Burguer — Restaurant in Lawndale

Happened to hear about this place through an Instagram ad one day and always kept it in my mind but never tried it out till today, even though it's literally down the street from where I live

It was my first time there and first time eating Brazilian food period, I was clear with the staff about that and they were more than glad to help with starting off, and we're genuinely enthusiastic about what they do and what they offer

Went for the Picanha burger because I happen to a watch a lot of Gugafoods, who raves about Picanha being one of if not the best cut of meats. After trying the Picanha burger I must say I agree heavily with him now

The burger was colorful, beautiful presentation. Tons of juiciness packed in, and then the tenderness of the picanha just goes so well with the other ingredients in the burger.

They courteously offered condiments but honestly it was so good and I was so hungry I didn't need any on the burger itself. It's that good it doesn't need anything else than what's already there

I never had Brazilian style burgers. When I tried their food, it tasted great! I had their X Cabuloso burger and it was packed with a lot of food: sausages, egg, these small shredded potato, and so on. To eat something this massive, you have to actually compress the burger, which I have no complaints. I had their Queijo Coalho appetizer which I heard great things about. I will admit, it was okay, not bad but not the best on their menu. I wouldn't really recommend it due to its expensive price, especially when they give you so little. Employees were great, very nice and friendly. It took awhile to get my food, but I think they cook it fresh which I really like. On the weekdays, it's pretty empty, so there are plenty of seating. I can't say enough good things about this place! From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat. The atmosphere is inviting, with a perfect blend of casual and cozy that makes you feel right at home.
