Leroy's Tavern — Restaurant in Lawrence

Took about 25 minutes to get a drink the first time so I got 2. It was busy but bartenders were hardly moving. Bar emptied out and I went back for another. Stood there for almost 5 minutes without any service with no one else at the bar. I asked if they were still serving and the female said yes and I asked for a beer. Took 5 more minutes for her to serve me. The dude working tonight was one of the laziest slowest bartenders I've ever seen. Also this place is disgusting, shoe almost came off stuck to the sticky dirty floor. Go in tomorrow night for a drink, you might get one if you stand directly in front of the bartender for 20 minutes, but might not. This...

One of the better bars to go to if you're wanting a more laid back night. I love all the different seating, including the second level "lofts" with very comfy couches. They've got lots of different bar games, including bags which is my favorite. I usually don't wait that long for drinks, and if it's busy they open up the second smaller bar area in the back. Only main complait is about the men's restroom. There isn't a door to the entrance (why?) and it almost always reeks of pee. Wouldn't hurt to install a febreze or a fan in the ceiling to help. $15 credit minimum should be shared in a more obvious manner than one small black sign above the poorly lit bar. No indication from bartenders prior to opening a tab. I had one light beer and was charged $15.60.

I’m new to the area. This seems like a rather predatory and short-sighted business model, as I’m much less inclined to visit again.
