I highly recommend Chuck Householder at Ad Astra Piercing Co. I've had many sessions with Chuck, my most recent being a week ago. I went in knowing I wanted a Sailor Jerry style tattoo and that's about it. Chuck talked through ideas and placement with me and I decided on a shark. He even pulled aspects of a couple different pieces together to create the perfect piece for me. Whether you know exactly what you want, or you only have an idea, Chuck's your man. I am looking forward to many more sessions with him in the near future at Ad Astra! I should mention while I was there I had a nice conversation with Brett about a piercing I've been thinking about getting. He was friendly, polite and informative. The only reason I did not walk away with a piercing is because i hadn't planned on one. There is a very laid back and friendly feel at Ad Astra. Went in and bought a pair of earrings for a gift for Valentine's Day. I was told that I would be allowed to return them if they were not the correct ones and they had not been worn. I was never told that I would NOT be allowed to return them or I would not have purchased them for $70. When I called to set up a time to return them, not only was it very difficult to get ahold of the business, but when I did, they told me that I could not return them and that they would NEVER tell a customer that it would even be possible to make a return when they had blatantly told me that that would be okay to do because it was a gift.

I know you say: You can't return and there was not a misunderstanding. You stood right there as we walked out the door and we said, "If these are not the ones he wants we will be returning them". You never said NO returns and lead us to believe we could return with no problems. You have no posting of NO returns and your receipt does not...

I DO NOT RECOMMEND I took my daughter there for her 14th birthday and we bought three earrings all of them were 14K gold I think we spent around $500 maybe even more. Within eight weeks of having these piercings two of them fell out and I tried calling several times and nobody would call me back after I left several messages and finally I got a hold of somebody when I called in recently and they told me that there is nothing that they can do. I find this incredibly ridiculous, considering the amount of money that we spent just to have her lose, two out of three earrings with two months of getting the piercing. There should be some sort of guarantee on the work they do and what jewelry they put in. I can understand that earrings fall out, but to have two earrings within the first eight weeks of getting them pierced then them falling out is just simply ridiculous.
