Whataburger — Restaurant in Lawrence

NOT impressed, 1st & probably last visit 11pm Friday night, 0 cars in drive thru. I was greeted almost immediately by someone that could barely speak English. Your total is $15.17 at the window (no please or thank you). The window was a fiasco. Everyone inside was doing NOTHING! A customer at the window meant NOTHING! Gal finally came over, made my drink, staggered around for a while. Finally opened the window & just stared at me (must be a former Walmart cashier). She finally looked at the screen & said "doubled burger". I said "ya". Said said "$15.17". I said, "please" (she had no clue). I tried to hand her my card but she was too distracted & it fell on the ground. So, she yelled at someone inside "He dropped his card" (am I allowed an EYE ROLL?). The onion rings where hot & fresh and very good. The burger had NO sauce (ketsup, mustard, mayo, NOTHING!) I checked the website & it appears mustard is the default sauce, which would have been ok but I prefer ketsup. Small pieces of lettuce & onions just fall off the sandwich. Glad I didn't try to eat this in the car at night. The brownie was awesome! Overall: not worth the effort. I might try late night breakfast. But if I get the same disrespect again, it will...

Today was my first and last visit to this Lawrence Whataburger. The food was good, but the service was terrible. A female employee repeatedly mocked me and made me feel unwelcome. When my order was wrong, I politely asked for it to be remade, but she openly ridiculed me in front of coworkers. Even after I let her know I could hear her, she continued, rolling her eyes and intensely staring me down anytime she could. The manager’s response was dismissive, saying only, “I’ll talk to her.” This staff's behavior ruined my experience, and I won’t be returning. EXTREMELY Poor customer service will drive this location downhill. 0 stars for service & I highly recommend finding another person to take this female employees place; she does not belong in the customer service / hospitality industry with her attitude and behavior. Does Patrick Maholmes own this whataburger in Lawrence Kansas??? Seen his jersey here and read he plans to open up 60 locations in Kansas. I hope that's true! Love me some whataburger!!! This location seems a bit smaller than other's but it's still amazing restaurant. Burger was yummy, fries was good and the soda always taste better than other places. Definitely amazing place to get something late night since they're open 24hrs. They serve breakfast from 11pm-11am. Awesome!!! Also they have port stations in the table where you can charge your phones, tablets, laptops or whatever needs to be charged! Amazing!!! Definitely my go to when we travel...
