Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries — Restaurant in Lawrenceburg

Came on Sunday night - about 6:34 - we had 8 people in our party.

While our server was very nice, the service was VERY slow. It took about 10 minutes to get our drink orders in/to be greeted. Then another 5 minutes to get those drinks. Then we were to the ordering part. This is about 6:45. Our food doesn’t come out until 7:25 and then we are missing 2 peoples orders and other various items… two of our burgers were incorrect (Carolina Classic missing chili, had an onion ring added and bacon on it? The other Carolina classic was also missing chili…). We did not complain to our waitress as we did not want to wait even longer… my husband never got his onion rings… I don’t recall the server coming back to check to see if things were okay (and certainly not for refills).

If you want to have servers, they should be trained better. Otherwise, do something like Steak and Shake or other fast food restaurants and not a sit down restaurant.

It will be a hot minute before we attempt...

We used to love hw55 at old location but the new location in lawrenceburg is not the same. Our burger buns came out and felt like they just came out of the fridge, Our fries where undercooked and limp, We also decided to get our usual shakes and splits but even those were so much smaller and the flavor wasn't the same. My husband and myself ordered different foods both came out in a timely manner and I have a hard time since I don't like cheese my order is easy to mess up but at hwy55 it's been right every time. Great service and a down right great place to eat.. We will be taking our grandkids to eat...
