I'm a local resident here in GA and this area for 14 years and have been a patron of Kpot for a long period of time now. I usually go out to Kpot twice a month, sometimes more. I must say that out of all the times I have been here, - Daniel Olivia Daniel Olivia ATL Airport - Disney). On top of this, I worked as a private chef writing and creating daily menus. ---- It is called "Hospitality" and "Service" industry for a reason.

Every time I come here, 10/10 times, I see other servers here ignore the guests (myself included). Just because us diners have been here before does not exempt you, as our Server, from doing your job. I always see them standing around the beverage area, around the corner, at the host stand, and talk to each other instead of providing service and an experience to diners.

MAYBE talk to the diners and you could learn a thing or two that you do not know before instead of gossiping with other servers about pointless conversations. Also, we can tell when you are gossiping negatively about us, the diners who are paying your bills. People go out to eat to have an experience, it is the Server's job to provide that experience. This is where your tip is coming from ---- The people who are dining at your table, NOT your coworker. If your coworker gives you $$$ and pay your bills, you DO NOT need to be working as a Server.

I'm not writing this review to talk down on anyone, I'm writing this review so this restaurant can flourish and be in business. This is a supportive and a constructive...

Decor: 5/5 Cute and beautiful Food Quality: 3/5 It was good, but they serve in very small portions (self serving) which is reasonable to save food, meat is very thin, and my bok choy for my hotpot still had dirt on it. Our server: 5/5 She did a great job, but I do have to complain that they are very over staffed that the other staff were just standing around. Our server, Hallie, had maybe 4-5 tables to attend to running around, and the rest were just chit chatting around making everyone else wait longer. There was an Asian lady, seems like the manager, who came to help us and apologized for the wait, but our server came to us quickly right after. I can tell that Hallie is trying her best to do her job - y’all should give her a raise. She’s very respectful too and always apologized to us. Clean up crew: 2/5 They were SO QUICK to clean up our table. Sounds like a good thing right? Wrong. We haven’t even finished our plate or bowl of food, and they would just swipe it out right in front of us. We would set our chopsticks on top of the the plates, leave for a second to use the restroom, guess what? Our plate and chopsticks are gone! Napkins gone, filled sauce bowl gone, or side dishes with 2-3 pickled food gone. They stand nearby like a hawk, just waiting to clean up. My sister went to go pay and had half of her egg-roll on one plate that she was coming back for, and the staff grabbed the plate - I had to tell her “No! She’s still eating that!” We don’t really like wasting food, so we try to eat all that we can. I gave them a 2/5 because they gave us new chopsticks when we accident dropped ours. Moreover, If there’s this many people standing there idly, then maybe the restaurant should schedule less staff to have something for everyone to do. Too many people not wanting to work dilly dallying (btw some of them had EarPods on at the reception desk - very unprofessional), and then too many people wanting to work who ends up doing an improper job.🤦🏻‍♀️ Either one of the crew could have at least go around and refill everyone’s drinks because our server had to go handle other customers, it would take a while for our drinks to be refilled. On their menu it even states that if one pound of food is left, you will be charged $13.99 extra. Tbh, If they keep swiping everyone’s plates like this, no one is gonna be paying that extra charge. Good for the customers, but not for the business. This place is a good hang out place with friends that’s all, not really a place for...

We went here for my daughter's 22nd birthday on September 25th. The food was great. The broth was nice and flavorful. The service, on the other hand.... ,not so good. We had a group of 7 people, so we were sat at a large table in the back, which was great. Our server was annoying and rude as heck. He started off of, explaining to us that if one got korean bbq and hot pot then everyone would have to get that. Which was fine except I had a 4 year old who doesn't eat meat or pasta so I just ordered her a bowl of rice. The waiter proceeds to tell me, "that's fine you can order just rice for her but if she eats any of the meat, I'll have to charge you for the whole meal." I said oh ok, that's fine thanks. He then comes back a second and third time and repeats the same thing. By then I just look at him and say, OK, I got it...I heard you the first time. Then he starts to say, " well I just wanted to make sure....." by that time I just cut him off and say, listen, my daughter doesn't eat meat, I heard you the first and 3rd/4th time I get it! I don't mind paying for my child to eat IF she decides out the blue to start eating meat today but thanks!! Once the broths arrive, my daughter (the 22 year old)and her friends go up to the sauce bar and make their sauces. The waiter sees this and decides to come back to the table to inform me that oh by the way, if your daughter (the 4 year old) uses any sauce for her rice, he'll have to charge me for the whole meal. At that point, I lose it. I tell him, I understand everything you said....(by that time it had been 4 maybe 5 times so everybody is telling him, ok we got it)....I just told him stop talking to me because at this point you're just being a jerk and I don't have anything else to say to you. I would've left and taken my business elsewhere had my oldest not wanted to stay there. We ended up getting through the meal without any more incidences. I paid for the meals and we left. I will not be returning to that location. It was very insulting and I felt like he thought I just didn't want to pay for her to eat. I understand they probably have dealt with situations like that but mention it once maybe twice and watch what happens. Don't treat everyone like a common thief or as if they don't have the funds to pay. Definitely needs customer...

Highly recommend. I recently visited with a girlfriend, and I’ve already been trying to plan the next time I can visit again. We went on a Saturday, where the dinner menu is available all day. It’s $30 for either AYCE hotpot or kbbq OR $35 for both. We obviously went with both. We told the waitress it was our first time there, and she was really sweet to explain how it all worked, how to use the tablet, as well as give recommendations. When I asked her to help me pick between two broths, she gave a resounding vote to the Korean seafood, and I’m so glad. It was delicious and the lobster balls, roe balls, tofu cakes, shrimp, bok choy, enoki mushrooms, and taro root were perfect with it. My friend got the tonkotsu broth, which she said was also yummy. Once we placed our first order with her for our soup items and kbbq items (beef bulgogi, short ribs, and her recommended angus chuck flap tail,) we went to get sauces and sides. There is an abundance of sauce options, but they do have some recommended combos for you. I went with soy bean paste, sweet and spicy sauce, and sesame oil. I also got a plate of pickled radish, radish kimchi, regular kimchi, and a salt & pepper chicken to try. Once we were back at our table, everything came pretty quickly. The veggies were all placed on one tray and the raw meats were each on their own separate plates, which I appreciated. I also liked that there was cooking spray, tongs for raw meat, and tongs for cooked meat. Halfway through our first order, we were able to order whatever else we wanted on the tablet at our table. It was nice to see pictures of everything, so I ordered more of my beloved lobster balls, spicy bulgogi, and beef cheek. I ended my afternoon with a plate of cherries, oranges, and sesame balls. Keep in mind there is a waste fee if you order too much and don’t eat it. Everything was delicious, and I had a fun experience. It was slightly overwhelming with all the options and everything going on at once, but I loved it. Will be back many times, I predict.
