I love arts and crafts, I dabble in a variety of things. Was so happy when I found out many many yrs back that this was going to come a hobby lobby. It's too bad that they staff it with the most judgemental, rude, and worst ppl. The profiling as soon as entering, I've been fallowed around every single time, once they even announced over the loud speaker to the entire store they where calling the cops!!! Lol for what?? Because you don't like the way someone looks, because I asked very directly if either of the old rude women shadowing me wanted to hold my items I was purchasing until I was finished shopping?? Oh and plus once due to proper upkeep and safety for it's customers I cut my hand open and it took someone over 10 minutes to bring me a paper towel. No band-aid. No manager. No incident report, even though I asked for both. Y'all need to hire people with some actual customer service and good people skills. I am in retail management and if I ever had an employee treat anyone like I've been treated there, it would be the last time...
Read moreHorrible experience & lack of customer service! I stopped by this Hobby Lobby which I use to frequent often, to make a return. For whatever reason, the manager named Kerry wouldn't process the return. When I asked why, standing there confused, he got loud & stated I was violating store policy to which I responded "what store policy is that?" He then started looking frantically on the back of the receipt & through a book but couldn't find anything & just said he wasn't going to return it. To be treated like I committed a crime by simply trying to return something, mind you with the receipt, is ridiculous especially with no explanation as to what the problem/issue was or the policy he was trying to make up. Meanwhile, I'm in contact with corporate who also hasn't done much to this point. If this is who is running the store & calling the shots I'm sure more...
Read moreI came in early morning. I was looking for some letters & paint for this crate I’m making for my niece. When I first walked in it was about 5 workers on the front end and NOBODY spoke or even asked if I needed help with anything. I was in the store for about 2 hours… still no one spoke or asked if I needed help and I indeed needed help but didn’t feel comfortable asking for help. I just didn’t feel welcomed. The customer service was HORRIBLE. I went to the bath and body works that was next door and I was talked to the cashier who greeted me when I walked in… I was telling her about my experience at the Hobby Lobby… she told me it’s ALWAYS like that. No matter the time of day. She confirmed everything I felt while shopping there. I won’t be back at this location which is sad because it was the closest to my home and I shop at the target and bath and body works...
