Awful!!! Sat down, waitress came over to get our drink order. We ordered two waters with lemon then said we would like the homemade guacamole and queso with jalapeños. She asked size, and explained what the difference was. Then, asked if we wanted jalapeños or regular queso. We looked at one another and said jalapeños, thinking well maybe she didn’t hear us. Then she came back and said did u want lemon in the water? Again puzzled we responded yes. She Brings the water and asks if we are ready to order. I wanted to know if they did a “fajita taco salad” she asked what that was. I said a taco salad with fajita inside. She asked the cook. Then asked if I wanted fajita peppers and onions. Umm duh!!!!! The “homemade” guacamole comes. It was literally mashed up avocados! THATS IT! I asked her to ask if their homemade guacamole is just mashed up avocados. Another waitress then came out and explained they gave two types of guacamole. Neither of what she explained was what we had. The cook then brought out the “homemade” version. Much better. Water glass empty. No silverware. Food comes. Mushy and the flavor was gross. Waitress never checks back Finally brings the check. 20 min we waited there with the credit card Sticking up waiting for SOMEONE to take the check. No one ever came. So we get up and walk to the register. Our waitesss says bye!!! Knowing she never took the check! Finally someone checked us out. We could or left with out paying and no one would of known. I do not recommend this place. With all the Mexican restaurants around one would think you would try to make yours the best! Memorable. My memories of here are of aweful Food...
Read moreI judge the local Mexican restaurants by a few things that determines if I'm gonna have a good time or not. 1. I avoid the chains. 2. I tend to look for smaller locally run places. 3. The restaurant is a little hole in the wall, with wooden booths from the 90s, and those little archway window openings, and hand made art all over the place, with mariachi band music playing on the PA. This place delivered on all fronts. It was our first time going there, and we just were in one of those "we want some mexican" moods, and I just picked the first place that was close by that met the criteria above, that looked like it was reasonably priced. The reviews looked good and off we went. This place exceeded our expectations on pretty much every level. The staff were kind and attentive. My glass never came close to being empty at any point, the food was hot, delicious and massively portioned. My pregnant wife was very full, and she's eating for two! Our server whose name escapes me at the moment, but he was wearing a puffy red Marty Mcfly vest (extra points for that btw) was super nice and chill, and just kept the whole experience the vibe we wanted and were after. He even offered us to go Mr. Pibbs which was appreciated. We will...
Read moreSo I ordered from this restaurant today for the first time ever while I’m at work, I got my food and sat down to eat it, and started to put my taco together with the fajita meat and took out the plastic fork they sent and went to scoop up some of the chicken to put it on my plate and it had a big long hair wrapped around The fajita meat. It was absolutely disgusting and I have pictures and I have it on video. !!! So I called this restaurant the gentleman who answered I asked for a manager, and he verbatim said(What do you want?) when I explained to him about the hair in my food, he asked me to hold sat the phone down and does not know that I can not only speak but understand Spanish, as he’s in the background explaining to somebody else, laughing and thinks it’s funny that I found a hair in my food and was laughing and making a joke out of it and then picks the phone back up and tells me they have no manager there and hung up...
