Ate here once a week for about 4 weeks while visiting family in the US. Breakfast is good for the cost. Can't speak on lunch etc I only came for breakfast. Some days the chicken was good some days it wasn't. Biscuits were def frozen kind but for the price you can't really expect hand made biscuits and they still tasted fine just had the freezer after taste to them. Sausage and eggs were always good. They somehow manage to keep the yolks nice and creamy on the overeasy eggs which is a feat I don't understand. So kudos to that. You'd expect the what of the buffet to cook them through. But they were always creamy. I think I tried everything on the buffet in the weeks I came here and kept coming back so if you have time to sit and enjoy breakfast it's better than some of the other sit down places that aren't buffets. My only real complaint was the floor. Somehow the carpet is sticky. You can hear the pull of the stickiness on your shoes. They should honestly just remove it cause it's a pretty gross carpet anyway. Oh and for a southern place you should be ashamed of your banana pudding...

This place is unpretentious but welcoming. The food at lunch was extremely hot and fresh. If you don’t like the idea of pre tipping bring the appropriate amount in cash. Lunch was $12.99 drinks were $1 for sweet/unsweet tea, and $2 for soda. Very reasonable. Mains today were fried fish, fried chicken, chicken pot pie (really good), chicken livers, pulled pork, baked chicken, Salisbury steak and even sauerkraut with hot dogs cut up (the bite I had was also surprisingly delicious) The only thing I didn’t really like was the pulled pork, and you could tell it hadn’t been refreshed yet. The geeen beans seemed fresh not canned or frozen, and were cooked perfectly. Lots of veggie options, corn bread and yeast rolls. Fresh fruit. The Mac and cheese was really good too. Large salad bar. Everything was very clean. The staff is pleasant. As I truck driver I’m not new to home style buffets or country cooking. This is much better than your average golden coral. Save room for dessert, the nana puddin and peach cobbler were fire

We saw the reviews ..but it was close by so we took a chance ... Should have just gone to Golden Corral .... Server was nice. . easy parking.. Good sweet tea ..there's your 3 stars ... Food just passable... Meatloaf funny tasting ... Fish cold and not fried or seasoned well... Bbq chicken ..most pieces were burnt... Chocolate cake so dry everytime i try to get a bite it crumbled...the cornbread was more moist than the cake ... Smh .. Collards ..ok.. Mac n cheese ok... Not much selection with meats .. Veggies for most part was all i cared to eat after tadting other things . . salad bar just ok ... Either drive further or pay more for a better meal elsewhere.

"This restaurant is really bad and we need help" is a statement that encapsulates a negative experience in a gastronomic establishment. When visiting a restaurant, customers expect a pleasant experience that includes good food, attentive service and a pleasant atmosphere. However, in this case, reality does not meet those expectations.

First of all, the quality of the food leaves a lot to be desired. It is possible that the dishes are tasteless, poorly prepared or even in poor condition, which compromises the food safety of customers. This lack of attention to the quality of the ingredients and the preparation of the dishes can lead to an unpleasant culinary experience and, in some cases, to health problems for diners.

In addition, the service in this restaurant is deficient. The waiters can be inattentive, rude or simply poorly organized, which results in long waits to order, receive the dishes or request any type of attention. This lack of professionalism on the part of the staff can generate frustration and annoyance among customers, negatively affecting their experience in the restaurant.

Finally, the atmosphere of the restaurant can contribute even more to the feeling of discomfort. A dirty, careless or unwelcoming environment can negatively affect customers' perception of the establishment, even before trying the food or interacting with the staff. The lack of attention to detail in the decoration, cleanliness and maintenance of the premises can create an unattractive atmosphere that distances customers and negatively affects the reputation of the restaurant.

In summary, the statement "This restaurant is really bad and we need help" reflects a negative experience that covers several aspects of the gastronomic service, from the quality of the food to the service and the atmosphere. Faced with this situation, it is understandable that customers seek help to find alternatives that meet their expectations and give them a more rewarding...

I’ve been coming here for over 3 years. While the building is old and needs a little love it’s a comfortable and clean place that I feel at home at. The kitchen staff works very hard to keep up with the demands of a busy buffet. Temperature checks, socially distancing at the entrance and between tables keeps all diners safe. The staff has always done a great job keeping things clean and safe for dinners and have stepped up their game during the pandemic with extra cleaning and sanitizing! The owners are a couple that has improved the quality of the staff and made improvements in the building since they took over a few years ago. I was very pleased that they have tried to improve things since taking over. They have a great staff of servers that give their all everyday. The kitchen staff are the unseen talent at this place preparing a lot of food with love and care. The variety is so good you could eat everyday and try something different. And don’t think I’m just exaggerating because I like this place and the people who work in it. I’m a person who worked in food service and in a restaurant for several years. It’s hard work and unless you’ve done it don’t judge till know everything about a place first. Don’t pay any attention to the negative reviews, they don’t represent the quality of the food and friendly and kind service given wholeheartedly by some great people. It’s widely known that some people who inspect restaurants look for silly details so they can justify their jobs. Sweet Baby Jane’s is a good place with people who care and do their best, so just remember that and judge for yourself. I think you’ll be...

Came in for the first time for a late lunch and was excited to try a new restaurant! Upon entering you are greeted with a lot of signs, warnings and rules, one in particular caught my eye that said "our waitresses work for tips", pretty common knowledge, weird but ok. After paying, you grab a table and get your food. Lots of veggies, some meat options and a decent salad bar. Watered up we got our food and found a table. 😑 Most of the food was cold and or bland, nonetheless we ate because we were starving...(and even then there was options not edible), we sat and sat waiting for one of the 2 waitstaff to come by to fill up our drinks to wash it down, as I looked around the whole establishment the 4, yes count them...FOUR other tables of guests were empty drinks and dirty dishes piled up. I started to look around to see if I could locate someone, both waitresses were standing as if not a care in the world at the front counter, with the audacity to smile as I walked up carrying my empty cups and asked if I needed something. 🙄 I actually looked at the "we work for tips" sign and thought to myself.."but do you?!"...I really am not hard to please and I was willing to choke down mediocre cold food that I had just paid $30 for 2 people for, but to be as dead as this place was and have to beg for 1 refill is absolutely ridiculous! Well ladies, word of advice...if you work for tips, actual work is involved, and for a buffet waitress....it's as simple as filling a glass and taking...
