Cabo Taco Cocina Mexicana — Restaurant in Lawton

Ordered curbside, call after getting there and no answer, went inside the guy at the front was talking to someone that was not ordering from what I saw he directed me to another area told him I was here to pick he saw my order was ready and still directed me to go to another area. I asked why and he asked did I make an online order and did I pay online. Shouldn’t he know these things just by looking at the receipt but I told him yes and he then gave me my food. Got the birria tacos and they had zero season no taste at all, had it before thought it was an off night well this night confirmed it’s just how they taste. Too pricey for what you get.

Update: the general manager did contact me and apologized for the food and service. Comped my entire meal or so I thought, called today to place an order and the manager I spoke with had no knowledge of this did not try and make it right said old general manager was no longer there. Got the phone hung up in my face. 100% will not...

Went by today for the first time. I wanted the 3 taco meal and asked if I could try 3 different ones and they said yes. He explained their process and went to get me a street taco with steak in the kitchen, it was awesome and full of steak. Then I decided on a fried flour taco with ground beef adding cheese, pico and other goodies. It was good, but I wouldn't say it was a deep fried flavor. The last one was a soft flour taco with chicken and I had them put the diablo corn, cheese and pico. It was really good too. Then he gave me sample cups on the side of all 4 salsas. The hot was pretty warm, the tomato tomatillo was a good flavor as was the mild, but the green one was the winner. It has great flavor and I will definitely be ordering it again. I also got the guac which had a good flavor. I will be returning again soon to try the burrito and queso. I usually go to Qdoba, but this is my new mexican...

I normally have really loved Cabo taco but this recent order has me debating on never ordering again. So I ordered a bowl and a kids chicken taco. I ordered guac with the bowl and didn't get it. Whatever it was an extra $1 but the kids taco was just a single taco in a bowl. Idk what I was expecting but I could have just ordered a single taco for $4 instead of a kids for $7 if I would have known it didn't come with anything else. The bowl also wasn't good. Everything was cold and gross. Idk if they cut costs somewhere but I am just at a loss for words. I'm happy I had reward points because if I would have paid close to $40 (for it for delivery so plus the fee and top) for what I got I'd be even more upset. Probably the last time I'll ever order. Oh also the bag the driver gave me was dripping so sorry to that guy's car cause it probably got it worse than my coffee table did when I pulled everything...
