25 years in Seoul, Korea and 27 years in California, loved Korean foods but I was amazed by Korean foods here in Nami restaurant Lawton, OK. Nami is a fusion restaurant of Japaneses/Korean foods when it comes to Donkatsu and other dishes, however, it was authentic as some of the best restaurants in Korea town, LA, CA. Donkatsu, pork cutlet, tender pork lion steak, breaded & deep fried, served with cabbage salad, miso soup, and steamed rice, oh and the cutlet sauce. Good portion. Crispy without being greasy. The sauce provided was sweet and tangy. Meat was white and fresh without smell of refrigerator. Yukgaejang, spicy beef & vegetable soup. Traditional hot spicy beef soup, pre-marinated w/ julienne brisket & vegetables, served w/ steamed rice. All the side dishes were excellent too! Fresh ingredients and marinaded well, not too messy with sauces and spices. I wasn't excessively thirsty after and you can tell the soup was made with love and natural ingredients. Great services and a humble lady owner....

Read moreLifelong Korean friend and I went for lunch today and we both ordered the Bul Go Gi and Rice. We both had sodas as well. Food was delicious however when we went to the register to pay the bill was $51 and change. I thought that was pricey but since my friend and the owner had a conversation in Korean during our meal I figured that I should have paid more attention to the prices. I didn't get a receipt and it turns out that once my friend got home and discussed the amount with his family they were beside themselves. They called up there and said that what we ordered should have came to under $35. Without a receipt it's futile to argue so long story short. Great food but someone is over charging and making a $20 bill anytime they can. Sooo unfortunate...
