Chicken Express — Restaurant in Lawton

Hi, I now come to the point of speaking out against the Chicken Express in Lawton, OK. For the 4 th. (!!!) time our order was incomplete and it looks like done on purpose since we reminded the person taking the order to make sure everything we pay for is in the bag. We love the food at Chicken Express which is not the reason for my complaint but getting ripped off is. We eat at Chicken Express a lot and two weeks ago we went through the drive thru and when we got home we was missing not only the rolls on two orders but also the corn nuggets on one of the orders. We went back the same week and came home again without the rolls. (If you call they tell you to come an get them but that is not the point, I do not want to make several trips for an incomplete order.) Yesterday,(06/11/19) my husband went inside to order. ( We always eat the liver dinner), he made sure to tell the person to make sure everything is inside and he was assured it will be. Well he came home and you may guessed it right: The rolls was missing again (but we was of course charged for it). In addition the food was packed sloppy and disgusting. Some bright light is laying the container w/gravy or mashed potatoes on its side which make them leak out, - disgusting to look at !!!! You are not a cheap place to eat and we do expect better and more honest service then that. I have pictures which I can gladly put on...

Make sure you have at least half a tank of gas and something to keep you entertained if you plan to do the drive through. Maybe bring your emergency preparedness kit and make sure your phone is fully charged. I like Chicken Express, but this one is painful. I always see the drive through backed up with cars, but mistakenly believed it was because they were so well liked. Then I got a request for their food from a house guest, and found out Hotel California had really been about ordering chicken the whole time. After at least a 45 minute wait, I was both overcharged and denied our drinks because they forgot to ring them up and, judging from the employee's look of utter defeat and resolute silence, really didn't want to do another transaction. The twist of the knife is watching every other drive through nearby process orders at minimum 4 times the speed. And you can't order online, I tried that workaround. The 2 cars in front of me were much smarter, as they gave up on the drive through and went inside. They managed to leave with their food before I or the 2 cars still ahead of me had even ordered. In case I haven't stressed this enough, avoid the drive through!...

Fantastic chicken strips, great gooey mozzarella sticks, crispy crunchy corn nuggets! The chicken and most of the sides, are amazing. Pretty decent value for what you're getting, but you will be here for a very long time waiting on tasty fried deliciousness. They're always packed to the street with cars in the drive-thru. I've watched people pull in and just leave, probably thinking "Ahhh not worth the time" but is TOTALLY is. Except for the French fries, which are always limp and soggy. It's as if they make all the fries at once before they open. Cole slaw is pretty bland, it always tastes like it's missing something, that sweet slightly tart kick just isn't there. I recommend getting Rolls all the time. The biscuits are rather dense and crumbly and they never slit apart evenly. Rolls are always well formed, rounded, and fluffy on the inside like a cotton ball. Other than slow service due to drive thru only, some bad fries, and uninspiring Cole slaw, this place is fantastic and always presents good tasty chicken and some awesome sides. If it's crunchy and fried, they're making it right!
