First visit while visiting home during my 2 days off this month of Feb 2024. The food was delicious and so flavorful. Upon walking through the door, the waitress greeted us and sat us down immediately. Right away, a gentleman approached our table w/ complimentary fresh tortilla chips and salsa. They definitely left a good first impression. Such freshness and good flavor made me so excited. After browsing the menu, both my husband and I could tell we were in for some good tasting authentic Mexican food. We decided to order a small guacamole to accompany our chips and salsa. While looking in the menu, I noticed there were no soups and no Mexican shrimp cocktail for an appetizer. I asked our waitress if they had the shrimp cocktail at first, and she answered no. But then surprisingly she asked me again did you want the shrimp cocktail...? I replied yes please if it's possible. She then nodded and said okay. I was so excited cause it wasn't an item listed on the menu, and it was literally what I wanted. After ordering the shrimp cocktail, both me and my husband were ready to order our meals. He ordered the Steak Ranchero, and I chose the Fajita Hawaiana (Hawaiian aka "pineapple" steak, chicken, and shrimp fajitas) I didn't try hubby's food but mine was delicious! The fajita meat, pineapple, and veggies were served in a fresh, hollowed out pineapple halve on a sizzling hot plate served on a wooden plank. My meal came w/ some foiled wrap corn tortillas, Mexican style rice, refried beans, lettuce, sourcream, guacamole, and freshly made pico de gallo. My next visit, I'm gonna order a margarita w/ my meal and leave room for a dessert. Their menu had some nice dessert options, including a banana burrito, sopapillas, and flan jus, to name a couple. Definitely recommend stopping by this restaurant for some good tasting, fresh Mexican style food.

Wow! So good! 10 out of 5. We were just passing through on the way home from a road trip, otherwise this would become our new go-to favorite Mexican restaurant. We had been in Texas and wanted some good Mexican food to round off our trip. Greeted immediately on arrival and service was great from start to finish. Asked for drink orders and brought salsa right away. We got large margaritas and they are the goblet size margaritas. Salsa was very good- mild, not too spicy but good flavor and fresh. I'm pretty sure it was the owner or manager waiting on us. When he took our order my husband asked for a side of a jalepeno. He asked if he liked or wanted hot sauce and said he'd bring us more sauces. He brought us an in house cream jalapeños type salsa and a roasted red pepper type salsa. Both great (a little beyond my spice range) but my husband loved them. Later he brought some queso to try as well 😆. We both got fajitas which was SO much food but we'll have great leftovers. The Hawaiian fajitas come in a half carved out pineapple which is fun! Overall great place. Wish we lived closer so we could come back soon but we'll definitely keep you guys in mind for future road trips!

On a recent trip to Lawton, we came across this New Mexican place. Y’all know by now, we had to try it and they have white queso bean dip, which we had to try. The bean dip had a rich flavor and we enjoyed it. Mrs. Flip Out ordered the Pollo Panchitos upon the recommendation of our server; she said it was really good and Mrs. Flip Out agreed. It was flavorful and delicious. I had the lunch burrito deluxe. Having it smothered in white queso was an excellent choice and it really enhanced the burrito’s flavors. I enjoyed my lunch very much and we will have to make a return trip!

The best Mexican food in Lawton. This place on South Sheridan road (where the old Luigi's was) hasn't really changed the decor much or the layout at all since the 20-teens as far as I can tell, so the atmosphere is probably the only "Meh?". The food on the other hand is like nothing else you can find in this town. The Chips were warm and crisp with no salt and the first bowl of salsa we were served was so mild that it tasted like tomato sauce, so my expectations were tamped down. The friendly waitress quickly brought us a bowl of the "spicy salsa" with a warning that it is "probably too hot" and most people mix it with the mild. The spicy salsa is bringing up the heat and the flavor, and if you like some zip with your chip, this is for you. It is well below the heat level of a habanero blend, and a little thin, but very fresh tasting with cilantro still completely unbruised. Mix if you want, or use it straight up and enjoy. We ordered the enchiladas Yolandes and the chicken Panchito's for our first visit and they were both outstanding and completely different from the run-of-the-mill tex-ish mex-ish food you find in the other restaurants in town. This food was hand prepared, high quality sauces, not overly seasoned and salted to hide the sameness of freezer case burritos and enchiladas slathered in Velveeta based gunk or gallon can salsas. The Panchitos had chicken breast pieces flattened and covered in bacon and shrimp on a Sizzling(!) hot cast fajita pan and board and covered in a white cheese sauce that actually enhanced the dish. Rice and beans were served on another plate on the side. The flavor and texture were great and the quantity was generous without being overwhelming. The Yolanda's were corn tortillas full of shredded chicken and the red enchilada sauce was just one of the choices available. The salad was fresh and dressed in sour cream. Again, the quantity was right for a healthy appetite but we ended up bringing home about half of each dish. The sopapillas for dessert were again given to us with our choice of toppings and we both had whipped cream and chocolate syrup. First time for everything and it was very good. The service was very good and attentive without being intrusive. Waitstaff other than our server asked if we needed anything else when they were in our area if our server was elsewhere engaged. Friendly, responsive, and prompt. They offer a 10% Military discount, which is meaningful in a town like Lawton/Ft. Sill. Our meal with a couple of glasses of tea (including dessert, but before tax and gratuity) was a buck and a half over $30. That is exceptional value nowadays. Sorry about the picture. I don't review a lot of restaurants and I took a bite or two before deciding that this is a place worth sharing. Stop in and eat at a place that is not a chain and where the owner works in the house. I know...

This is our second time going in a large group (17) Service was ok are food was good, lunch fajitas we all loved. Enchiladas not at all. They have great guacamole, there spice mango salsa is excellent. Food and service was okay. This second time we again (10) of us , it just seems the Service is really what will stop us from coming back , They need experience, it is a constant confusion, waitress would ask a question, not all of us got to respond so then it became a waiting game , if I was the cook , I would be very upset. Example asking if everyone wants Sopapia but before everyone can answer she we t and put order in of 4 but still 6 more want them also , by the time we get her bk to the table they are done eating and we just getting to put the order in , .we will go one more time I think , but it really seems waitress staff can't handle more then 2 at a time . We asked for Napkins, never got , instead of all us with fajitas giving us each our own guacamole they put all in a large bowl so those at the table thought it was free for all because they at the same time brought cheese dip complimentary to us , I ask for everything of mine to be separate, just sour cream and guacamole cuz I don't like it on my salad , never got because she said she brought it out already and the table shared .we spend a lot of money any were we go 20 a person are meal n drink there was $14.49 give 20 and keep the change , and 3 or four take another order to go and tip very well, The vote at the table today was not to return , we will in about 6 weeks and I hope you got it together by then . The dining staff will be...
