I want to start out by saying this is a lovely establishment. It is super cute and well decorated and has a really nice vibe overall. My waitress was also super nice and food was quickly served. We ordered a small fried rice, spring rolls, crispy egg rolls, and a chicken banh mi as well as a tofu banh mi. Everything was good, the fried rice was some of the best I have ever had, it was super flavorful! My only complaint was my chicken banh mi was super bland. Was sort of dry overall without a lot of flavor. I noticed there are other lemongrass sautéed dishes, and would totally suggest offering a lemongrass chicken or pork banh mi. I think just any way of adding some extra flavor as an option would make this easily worthy of 5 stars! Again, this is just my opinion, there may be other people that love the banh mi but for me it just wasn’t the best! I will def return to try a lemongrass dish or...
Read moreI’ve come here 3 times in 2 weeks. Every time I intend on getting something new, and I do…. But I also end up getting everything I already tried too😭🤤. For starters I’ve tried the crispy egg roll and the shrimp spring roll w/ peanut sauce, both were great and I think like $3-$4 per order of 2. The pork Banh Mi is a great, simple classic that you can’t go wrong with. The beef Banh Mi exceeded my expectations and was recommended by the very helpful & nice woman that has served me every time I’ve been. The Pho is one of the best I’ve ever had. I’ve had the eye of round which is basically thin slices of beef tenderloin it’s so tender. My personal favorite is a combo of the well done brisket and the fatty brisket, also her recommendation of mixing those two. I haven’t tried the teas or the coffee yet, but that’s next💯. So yummy and convenient,...
Read moreFast and friendly. Had a coworker say it was good; tried this place with my wife. Good service and the Vietnamese coffee is what it should be; very dark and sweet enough to cut through it. It can be very difficult to find good Vietnamese coffee that is made right or not extremely watered down.
We had the Pho Dac Biet and Bun Bo Hue. Flavor profile was very nice on both. I’m used to large bowls being a bit larger but we were not upset with what we received.
I do wish the Bun Bo Hue came with a pork bone and blood cake but I was satisfied with what I got. Sometimes the demographic of the area can dictate what goes in the soup and blood cakes and a giant pork bone where you have to bite the meat off can make some people feel a certain way.
I heard plenty of Vietnamese from the kitchen, so know you’re getting some authentic food....
