Paradise Reef Restaurant — Restaurant in League City

This is a nice place for a decent breakfast buffet. My wife and came during the week and got the basic breakfast buffet. I loved the seat next to the window. They had a nice variety of fresh fruit. The scrabled eggs were okay. The bacon and sausage was good. They also had biscuits and gravy which I really enjoyed. Overall the food wasn't amazing but good and clean. I read the websites very vague information about the Sunday brunch and mimosas they have. I get there at 9:30 to I found out they didn't serve mimosas until 10:30 according to state law (which was my main reason for going). I wish the website was a little more helpful. Oh and the food was cold and the worst I've ever had at any buffet, ever. At the restaurant I find out that the buffet is a whopping $25 a person, which was never mentioned online. I realize crowds are down and prices are up, however, I was unhappy with the selections available. A sign on the entry table touts fresh berries and pastries but there is only a big bunch of grapes and a halved pineapple for display. The foods they had were pretty good but buffet favorites are not provided. Service is wonderful. Cleanliness and friendliness are far in excess of expectation. Live music is vocal.
