Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in League City

First off, this was the first time that I have been to this one and wanted to try it out - big mistake!!! I went through the drive thru and not only did it take 30 minutes to get the food (a 3 piece special that they are running on commercial for $3.99 and 3 apple pies for $1 each) but the lady at the window said it was $12.59. I then went to the window and the said they were out of pies. I told them to take them off and the total was $8.59?? How?? After paying with a $20, the girl gave me back $8.41. Ummm... can she not do math or is she pocketing the money? After spending 5 mins telling her that she owed me more money and her getting the manager, the manager proceeded to tell us we were wrong but that they should give us a couple dollars back - he made our change $10.09 and continued to argue with me about me being wrong. At the end of the day I spent $9.91 on a $3.99 advertised box of chicken, that when I got home was the worst chicken that I’ve ever eaten. To make it worse, the biscuit was so hard like it sat for days. DO NOT EAT HERE! Worst food, worst service, and horrible management! If you do want to try it, make sure you check your receipt and the money you give them.... There is definitely something fishy going on here...

As much as I love the spicy tenders I will no longer be giving Popeyes my business. After several rude encounters at this location I am done. The app is unusable, I went to pick up my order, which I have been charged for, and they say they haven't received the order yet. I waited another 15 minutes and tried again, at which point they said they didn't have it and I must have ordered it at a different location, I tell them my order clearly says this location, and they reiterate must be wrong and must have ordered it elsewhere, but they would be happy to charge me again, mind you I used a coupon, so it was no longer usable and would have been full price. So now I have to wait 3-5 days to see if the charge falls off. Can't email Popeyes because their email is full, may have to find the corporate number and start calling. Unacceptable.

DO NOT VISIT THIS POPEYES. This is not the first time we have tried getting food and the order has been completely messed up. Not only did we not get all of the food we ordered the first time around, it took THREE trips through the drive through to get the order sorted out. They also had all of the doors locked just standing around inside with vacant expressions or on their phones, not acknowledging anyone’s existence. Once we finally got some form of food from their obnoxious and rude drive through attendant, most of it was cold by the time we got back to eat it (we live 5 minutes away). Based on all of the other reviews in the past year for this location I’m sure the only way they’re still in business is from taking peoples money and then not giving them their food. The staff is rude, absent-minded, and there’s just no saving this place. There’s Cane’s, Chick-fil-a, or any number of local family owned places that deserve your money WAY MORE than...
