Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in League City

Recently, my experiences with Chipotle’s food has been pretty average. I usually order a quesadilla, and most of the time it’s warm instead of hot, and it tastes dry. Figured this was the norm, as I’ve experienced this at several locations. However, my last visit to this particular location was better than usual and that’s what prompted me to write this review.

I had a giant of a man named Zane take my order, which was my usual quesadilla. However, what was unusual was that it was amazing. The young fella prepared it a different way, and as a result, I had a juicy, and consistently hot quesadilla throughout my entire time eating it. Hell of an experience. The kid’s onto something, and I wanted to recognize him for bringing out the quality in the food. Whoever your manager and GM are, I hope they take notice of you and your ideas. And next time you’re there, I’m requesting you to make my food....

When a few days ago and placed an online order through the app for 9:10 pm. I got a quesdilla and a chicken salad.

I got into the drive thru at 9:07 and expected to wait 8 or so minutes since I got their earlier.

The lady when I pulled up said my food was almost done and it should only be a few minutes.

I waited 20 minutes, I watched her make my quesadilla and chicken salad after 10 minutes and talk for the other 10.

Not to mention when I get the food home the chicken is now steak and as seen in the picture my quesadilla had the paper ATTACHED to it. Absolutely disgusting, this was my 2nd time ever trying Chipotle and to say im disappointed and disgusted is an understatement. Is that how all of them are?

Then my mom and I both woke up at midnight with horrible stomach aches and nausea. The one star is for the chips and Mexican soda since those were the only good...

I am very disappointed in the taste and the customer service or shall I say the lack thereof. This was my second visit within a 24 hour span and I had never wanted to patronize this business since it's inception. I'd tried to dine at Chipotle in the past dating back to 2008, but could N-E-V-E-R get a good taste from the overall dish other than citrus and salt placed on the add-ons. It appears the taste depends on who's preparing the meat. Well, I placed an order for a chicken bowl with queso blanco. Never again! The taste of the meat wasn't the same as ordered 24 hours before. Plus, I was charged twice for one bowl. I was told that the original transaction failed. It didn't. I'll NEVER attempt to patronize this company again. It's cheaper to prepare a bowl at home.
