This was our second order. First was p/u and tonight-delivery. For the holidays they are offering free delivery with a $10 order. We don’t usually do delivery, but it was really appreciated today. I ordered Orange Chicken with Chow Mein for hubby and Kung Pao Chicken with Greens for myself. This did not go smoothly at all. About 20@ into the order I received a call from Gary with Doordash. Evidently panda is using DoorDash for their free deliveries, so I assume that means they are compensating them. Gary advised that my order was not there . I pulled it up again on the Panda Express app. I also pulled up the email, confirming the order and offered to give him an order number after a few minutes of him talking with the panda express people he advised they could not find my order, I offered to give them the order number but at that point all of a sudden they located it. He said since he was on his way home, and I lived in between the restaurant and his home he would go forward with the delivery. Otherwise Doordash would probably assign someone else. I was fine with that, but I did let him know that if it got to be too long just to let me know and I will cancel my express that I was I expressed that I wasn’t very happy with the fact that they said they didn’t have my order. Sometimes I don’t know whether to love or hate electronics because I’m not sure at this point we could live without them, but they sure can mess things up. Anyway, Gary ended up arriving about 40 minutes after the order with our order in tow. They had also given him a large drink, which I offered to him since I did not order it I gave him a bit of a additional tip for his trouble when we opened our order, I found that they had added , as a courtesy, I guess due to the mixup …a dozen eggrolls. Holy smokes! it was very nice of them to do that . I ended up freezing them since I am avoiding carbs and the hubby doesn’t care for them. As far as flavor the orange chicken has become too spicy for the hubby so he will have to find something different next time. I barely got through my Kung pow chicken as with all the peppers that were in it I thought I was going to implode. So it’s not a poor review, but it’s not a great one either. I did appreciate Gary with Doordash hanging around for quite a while so that we would...
Read moreWe ordered online for 6:58pm. When my husband arrived just after 7pm it wasn't ready. Unfortunately, a large group of about 9 other customers was also waiting for their orders. They were helping walk-ins and drive thru customers but not engaging with any of the pick up order customers at all. They only had one cook and 2 employees filling orders, which could explain the initial backlog but there were several points in time where employees had no walk-ins or drive thru customers and were standing around. Our order sat almost half finished while my husband observed everything else from our order was available, just not plated the entire time. My husband gave up after 20 minutes and asked for a refund and while they didn't provide a physical receipt we fortunately got an e-mailed copy. This was the most bizarre customer service. It wasn't the first time they've taken a long time filling a pick up order but tonight we just didn't have the patience to sit around and hope they started trying to fill orders. Your staff needs better training and at bare minimum, please acknowledge your customers. If you can't fulfill online orders, don't take them. We now have to wait 4-5 business days to get our refund back - terrible...
Read moreWe can go ahead and add this place to the list of establishments I won't voluntarily return to. I just got there to pick up an order placed at 545 for pick up at 615.
While there I decided to add one item so I decided to wait in line to get in then grab my food (which I'd assumed would be ready and waiting) after. Despite having at least 8 employees actively working on the line dishing out food, it took 10 minutes for the first person in line (I was second) to even get acknowledged to place an order. There were two employees also in the dining room area chatting with Uber Eats drivers.
Finally after 10 minutes of flat out being ignored I said "is anyone here actually able to address any of the 10 customers that are in line and waiting?" Finally one employee did decide to start helping us in line. I get through getting the item I had decided to add on only to find out my to go order-which was not custom ordered and they'd had 30 minutes notice to produce on time-was not ready. When I asked "where it was" they finally decided to make it.
If a fast service chain has everything prepared and on display where the only action necessary to complete an order in a timely manner is scoop it out, and they have 30 minutes advanced notice I don't feel like its crazy for me to assume it should be ready on time, not 10 minutes late and only started because the customer...
