On 1/14/2021 at 6:25 am . One star is to much for the kind of service I received on this day. I left my house 30 minutes earlier to pick up breakfast before work. Before I left the drive thru I asked for my receipt and looked in my bag. I asked for sausage egg biscuit not a egg, sausage and cheese muffin. I show the young man he gave me the wrong breakfast sandwich. The receipt was correct but not the sandwich. He said ok and came back with another McDonald bag. I went to drive away and I decided to look in the bag. He gave me another egg, sausage cheese muffin. I went back in line. Had to wait for four cars to pay and get their breakfast. When it was my turn. I gave the young guy the receipt again and explain he gave me the wrong sandwich again. After a minute. The blonde came up to the drive thru window(think she's a manager) and told me to go around the corner of the building and wait for my food. I told her, "no". I already waited long enough. She made it clear she's didn't care how long I had to wait and told me I'm going to make the other people late to work also. Then she pick up one of the Mc Donald's bags and walked outside. Gave the people behind me food,. The funny part the car stayed and didn't leave. She went back inside the building and guess what. The young man gave me my food. I understand people make mistakes but I never had a business that made it clear they don't care. I didn't get a sorry and what can we do to make this right. I get a lady that didn't care if I'm late to work, how long I waited the second time in line and she didn't care if I had to wait longer. If this is how you teach your employees how to treat customers then I think it's important to spend my hard working money somewhere else. I will let people know how you do business. The sad part of this story, this happen to me 6 months ago. The only difference, I didn't have someone telling me to drive around the building to wait for my food longer than I...
Read moreMy kids go there alot after school to get on their internet. I give them money to spend there everytime. Today my son ran into another kid and got a bloody nose. They had to make an incident report due to him getting hurt. The manager at the store said my teenage boys behave while they are there. She told the officer that they come there everyday unattended and she was concerned of their well being. Are you kidding me? We live two blocks from there. They are teenage boys not toddlers. Teenagers are at an age where they can lawfully do things on their own including going out to eat at McDonald's. I will not be spending any of my money there anymore due to managent making me look out to be a bad mother in front of tons of people because I'm letting my children grow up to be young adults. They dont need to be attended 24/7 they are teenagers. This should have been a simple incident report filled out. But management decided to take it to another level and threaten me with dcf. She said they are there until 10 o'clock at times on school nights and they should be home. News alert lady, curfew is 10:30. You have no right to tell me when my children should be home just because you wouldn't do it. No laws were broken and your personal opinion on my childrens bedtime is not valid. As long as they get their 8 hours of sleep everynight, school attendance is great, and grades are amazing, no hygene problem, dress nice, and from the managers own mouth "they behave well there", I have no problem with them getting out of the house. For gods sake, we spend money their several times a week. Stick to your job and take care of your customers not...
Read moreIf this was truly an experience, I wouldn't be here spending energy to the good, bad and ugly adventure.... After teaching adults for over 25 years to do their jobs; some in the areas of customer service. sales and loyalty. It never fails that some employees gathers and talks but not when a customer is waiting. All 8 with their faces away from any face who enters. Finally, one person turns to face me and says, I'll get you down here....down here where? With several order positions unmanned at the time, the alternative was to follow a pointing finger and stop. The order was taken for breakfast items no other offers were made. Finding a seat wasn't hard but the drive up was busy. After receiving my tray, and getting settled, I reflected back on what they claim as an experience. No..How may I help you, What can I get you, Would you like to try, Or Is there anything else I can get you....just a stare. Not a Good Morning or Thank you. I have no idea of the standard operating procedures of McDonald's but surely, there's a Thank you somewhere. I'm all for the minimum wage to increase but a business needs to show worthy of those increases for the staff but this is not the way. I was thanking the staff member who turned to take the order but she never said "Thank you". For a billion dollar business, there's a great deal of improvements needed with staff; not just changes to the menu. I've been to McDonalds all over the US and other countries. The most cordial are in the real south excluding Texas where most looked lost and service timing was quite lengthy. This specific location has a lot to learn, be consistent...
