Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in Lebanon

Today , May 4, 2019, at 1:30 pm, my family and I were at the Carl’s Jr. in Lebanon, Oregon. While waiting an extreme amount of time for our food, I watched a young female employee standing and getting orders ready on the trays. While watching I observed her remove her hair tie, then put her hair back up, picked up fries that had fallen out of the fry container and threw them back into the container, handed out food to customers, picked up the order placards from customers and continued to handle the food. Not once did she wash her hands, in fact, I commented to her that it wasn’t sanitary or appreciated that she had such a lack of hygiene while working in a food handlers position. Actually, it was repulsive. She attempted to make an excuse but then realized her mistake and made an apology. She disappeared and didn’t return during my visit but to my knowledge she didn’t wash her hands. I had already received our order or I would have left. This is completely unacceptable and just dirty. Other customers heard our conversation and agreed that it was disgusting and were shocked by this employee’s behavior. Needless to say we won’t be back and I understand your 2 1/2 star rating. As always, these guys are always so wonderful to help whenever we have questions or need advice about mtg. They are also on top of the online card orders that my family puts together before stopping by the store. They have always had them ready to go by the time we get from keizer to downtown salem. They seem to have a great selection of all sorts of role playing, card and board games, as well as d and d figures and figure painting supplies. My husbands been playing mtg since the early at least '95 and they haven't let him down on card availability too much. We haven't participated in any tournaments yet, but from what we've observed they are organized and well ran. My family is getting ready to start participating in them. I'm hoping it was just a one-off, we ordered through the drive-thru and we're told we needed to park, so we parked in the front of the building, a few moments later a lady came out with a bag of food so I rolled my window down, expecting it to be for me, she just looks at me and says can I help you with a snarky attitude, I tell her that I'm parked in the waiting spot and I'm expecting two burgers, she lets me know that it's probably for me and gives it to me and walks off, I hope it up the bag before I leave and it's not what we ordered, I get out of the store, go inside and talk to somebody who I believe is a manager and told them. Them. They took the food back and brought me out the correct food, however the burger that I verified wasn't mine. I had to open and she gave it to another customer which was a little concerning.
