Listen, usually this Cook Out is really good with it's service and whatnot but tonight was ridiculous. Got to the drive thru to order and got met with a bad attitude from a worker. Usually they start to talk before you pull up all the way, so we were expecting a little bit of hesitation, but instead it was just plain annoyance, based on the two different receipts we received, his name is Larey or Michael. We asked if he could repeat our order and he sighed loudly and rudely said he couldn't hear us. We kindly asked again after we turned off our truck and he still didn't repeat the order back. Got to the window and paid for our meal, just to find he didn't give us a burger or shake. We paid $22.88 for a meal that wasn't even correct or complete. Ridiculous.
While I understand mistakes, this is the third time it's happened with this guy. Even upon clarification at window. Please do better, I hate to leave bad reviews, but I...
Read moreUpdate It's been quite a while since I tried this place out again and I'm so happy I did. I'm assuming this place is under new management because it's a total turnaround. I've ate there twice since and it's been great every time. Keep it up and I'll keep bringing my business!
Let me start by saying our family generally loves cook out. We moved east and discovered them, then were delighted to find that when we moved back to TN they had built several here in the years we were away. The Lebanon location is not good though. This particular trip we were using coupons given to us by corporate because the last time we went they shorted us half the meals we ordered and were home before we discovered it. This trip wasn't much better. We did get all the food we ordered, but only because we checked the bag and went back through the line (2 sandwiches were missing). The food wasn't good though either. I won't be going back to...
Read moreI got the double Huge burger I think they called it with only ketchup and onion rings. The onion rings were really good except they forgot to season them after frying. I opened the burger to add more ketchup, they never put it on both sides like I like, and found 2 small patties. I put them side by side to cover the bun and they overlapped about 1 1/2 inches. THIS WAS THE DOUBLE HUGE BURGER! Patties the size of dollar menu burgers on a bun the size of a whopper (for reference). If left alone and actually stacked I would have almost an inch of bread all around. Also they were dried out. Yes, it was only $3.99 but they said it was a huge double. My daughter loves their chicken tenders with hush puppies and cole slaw but that's went from $5 to almost $10 in 3 years. They were great when they opened but now I'm not a happy camper. ...
