This Cracker Barrel gave very slow service. We waited about 35-37 minutes for our food when we went for an early lunch on a rainy Monday morning. A couple of tables were getting food service ahead of us, who arrived 10-15 minutes after us. I dont know if it makes a difference that they ordered breakfast? We ordered chicken strips. Maybe different cook prep areas? Waitress was very timid and unsure. Served us burnt biscuits (some people like that!), forgot the ketchup my husband asked for, and skipped water refills. My husband did get one coffee refill, but we ended up running out of water. Our chicken tenders seemed a bit hard and rubbery. My husband's fries were cold and old. Maybe they'd been sitting a while and forgotten about? Maybe that's why it took so long. Bathrooms need a good thorough cleaning, smelled funky. Maybe a good remodel would help it not seem so gross. I had to play with the flusher handle for a minute to get it to flush. Yay... oh and we had to step around poop on the way in the restaurant. I really have no idea what that was about. We usually have a good experience whenever we go to any Cracker Barrel, it just seemed this one didn't try very hard.

Highly NOT RECOMMENDED. We had 5 adults and 4 children, and was told it would be a 20 minute wait. Ended up being 50 minutes to be seated. When we were finally seated, we had our drink orders and food orders all ready to give to the waitress. Turns our that drinks and food orders are taken by different people. Ok, we are Yanks, guess folks do things differently out here. Drinks came, eventually food for 3 adults and 2 of the children. No food came for the others. We waited another 30 MINUTES, and my coke had not been refilled. Couldn't get anyone's attention so I walked out to the hostess out in the store and told her I needed another coke, and where is the food for the rest of my family? Another 25 minutes goes by and the waitress drops off this charcoaled chicken in front of my wife. She had ordered grilled chicken. I called for the manager and was comped, she said that the kitchen totally lost the second half of our food order. She offered to replace my wife's chicken but after being there for 2 1/2 hours, we were over it. We had an event to attend and were quite late as it was. Avoid at all coats.

Had a great experience at Cracker Barrel in Lebanon, Tennessee!!

We have been there a few times previously however this was our first time in quite a while.

The food was great. My mom and uncle had Hamburger Steak and I had the Carolina Gold BBQ chicken tenders.

I recommend them! They were very tasty!! But there for a limited time so try them while you can!!

The atmosphere was also great, however, to say the service was outstanding still seems like an understatement!!

We especially want to give a special shout out and a huge “Thank you” to the manager, Brian!!

Last night, Friday, April 19, 2020, between 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM CST, we were there.

We were getting ready to leave. We had already paid and went to the restroom.

My uncle’s legs are weak and he fell in the men’s restroom. A young man that worked there was going to help him but he couldn’t have helped him alone.

They went to get Brian and he jumped into action. He got the young man to come to the restroom with him and a lady staff member also came to assist.

They helped him up and made sure he was okay. He talked to for awhile and except for about 5 minutes or less, he stayed with us until we went outside to get the car to leave.

When mom went to get the car, he sat down in one of the rockers. However he was unable to get up.

My mom is an organ recipient and soon to have hernia surgery. I try to help as much as possible however I was unable to help him alone.

My mom went in to attempt to get him help, and Brian and the young man staff member came to assist him.

However, in the meantime, a Good Samaritan lady, who was a registered nurse, assisted us and helped me get him in the car right before they made it outside.

However we can never repay the kindness that Brian and his staff gave us last night!!

I recommend Cracker Barrel in Lebanon, Tennessee for the delicious food and great atmosphere; everyone was very nice and greeted you with a smile and made you feel welcome.

However I also recommend Cracker Barrel in Lebanon, Tennessee for its exceptional service on a normal day, but above and beyond service in a difficult situation!!

We will definitely...

I was there this morning to eat with my friend. We were told it would be a 20-minute. Which was fine! Because I really enjoy their bf. The party before was 10 minutes before us. They were seated ten later, and we were seated behind them. Our Waitress took their food, they came took ours. Got our drinks. My glass was dirty with a piece of food or whatever it was, and I asked 3 different for a fresh glass Oj, which I finally got after 15 mins I okay because the place is full, but during this time another party comes in right next to the first. First, they get their food. We're waiting 20 mins or so enjoyed conversation. 3rd gets their food, and we're still waiting, first party leaves, 3rd about done. I'm not trying to be rude, but we had been from 10 am until 11:05 seated at 10:20am we were very patient to full house we get our bf 11:10 and her egg Casserole isn't hot and mine wasn't at all . Asked for the manager. I told what was going on, and I told at point 2 that the other behind us had their food, and I'm just getting it, and it was cold and that I wasn't paying for cold food, plus my order wasn't right and when I asked the waitress, where was my fresh strawberries for my pancakes? She informed me that they told her they were out. So now we're waiting another 10 minutes for our food to get there. And it's the same plate because I can tell, by the way, the hasbrown casserole was when they first brought my plate out. They added more hashbrowns and reheated my food. One last thing my pancakes magically had strawberries on it. I took a few bits and asked for a to go plate 'cause at the point im ready to. I did ask the waitress why it took so long with us getting our food? It was an hour, she told me well it was up there but nobody wanted to pull y'all 's ticket. Ask for my receipt, she informed me that the person who was in front of you. Pay for your food . I said that was my cousin. He also paid for the lady beside him. I said, "Yes, that's his sister in law. We're all family, and I am grateful for thať. But there was no apology from the manager. Nothing? No discount or anything. I'm very...

Went for Thanksgiving. I would honestly give no stars if it was an option. I honestly saw more people waiting for food than eating tonight. For starters, there was an extremely limited menu. I understand they want to strem line things for the holiday, but this was honestly no help to them. They had plenty of servers and 2 managers that I could see working. We checked in online 25 mins before we arrived at the restaurant. We were told another 20 min wait. After we were seated, we found out about the limited menu. There were 6 people in our party. 2 of which are children. We got a drink order in and received those quickly. After we put our order in, we waited nearly 45 mins for it to be brought out without my daughters order. Hers came 10 mins later. We rarely had our waitress come to our table even though she constantly walked by us to get to other tables. I would understand if this chain doesn't see a busy day. But in terms of volume, I've seen it busier at 6 PM on a Friday night with a FULL menu and get 100% better service than what we received tonight. My husbands country fried steak plate only had 7 steak fries on it for an adult side item. My son got a kids plate and had twice as many fries as he did. Again, I understand it's a holiday, and they are busy. But at 3:40 PM there wasn't any more people than a Friday or Saturday night. If they have 2 managers and not enough cooks, then they need one of them in the back to help out. They had PLENTY of servers for sure. This is a chain that literally sees a few hundred people on the weekends all the time. Had we known about the limited menu and the poor service, we would NOT have even come today. All around, we were there for over 2 hours just to eat a meal. We had to ask for refills on our drinks. This was a serious letdown for our family. We normally love Cracker Barrel, but the quality and service have gone WAY downhill in the last year, but today was by far the worst we have ever seen. It was a huge mistake for our family to come here for our Thanksgiving meal. Beware and avoid, especially for holidays and...
