OVER 45 minutes ?! And I have to call again?
You told me 20 minutes and I’ll bring it out to you. I’m sitting here watching people drive in and order. Return to their cars. There were 4-5 cars here when i arrived. Waiting. Now Other people are getting their food who arrived, went inside, ordered after me. This upsets people!! #1 complaint in the restaurant industry!!
And you never asked what kind of rice I wanted. . . . . . . the noodles are not authentic. the chicken is nuggets. the food is "Sysco" type that is heated. no flavor !! and Definitely NOT Mouth Watering LOL so my food has been sitting for 45 minutes. then i drive home which is 20 minutes out of town and my food is now cold. which i have to heat back up. Health Department should be made aware of this. i should have just stayed home and cooked my own.
so i finally get my food and i ask Why did it Take So Long? she replied that they are trying to keep up with all the orders. now it's almost 530 pm and the parking lot is full. So they basically cannot keep up with the demand of incoming orders. First visit and definitely not impressed. i'm very disappointed and maybe a little embarrassed for them. they look like a chicken with it's head cut off. running around. so in conclusion of this visit and prolly my ONLY EVER visit, i can't recommend yall. Obviously y’all are doing such a great business that you don’t need my measly $39. Average food at Best. I am New to Lebanon but I can cross y’all off my list. Will spend $ at other local restaurants...
Read moreI wasn’t going to leave a review but after I found a chicken bone and my husband found a piece of a chopstick in our food, I changed my mind. After I paid for my order I checked it and it had two boxes of the chicken we had ordered but only one small box of rice. When I went to ask for another rice I was told they were combined and put in a small box, this made no sense to me. I didn’t take it any further and left. When we finally opened the boxes to eat, our meal was wrong. We had ordered General Tso’s Chicken and were given Sweet and Sour Chicken. The food was edible and we were traveling so we didn’t bother to go back just decided we won’t ever stop there again. After I found a chicken bone in my dinner and my husband found a piece of a chopstick in his meal, I decided to leave a review. I know things happen but this was just one too many things for me and felt it needed to be disclosed. The piece of the chopstick was sharp at the end and could have potentially caused a bowel perforation, they need to be more careful and sanitary. The amount of rice was small and we definitely got ripped off there too. I would suggest trying another place for Chinese if you are...
Read moreLove local businesses and I LOVE Chinese food… sadly this visit was underwhelming and disappointing. Spending years in and around Boston as a youth I experienced a lot of great Chinese American food. I have found some good Chinese food in and around Lebanon. My disappointment with Peking was: Small cramped serving area shoved in a corner which created a very long slow line. Minimal food choices and flavorless or not the right flavors. Fried rice was just flavorless white sticky rice, meats were covered in Tempura batter (Japanese). Meats in vegetables were missing correct seasonings. I missed the sense of soy or oyster sauce in any/all dishes that should have it. Crab Rangoon filling was liquidy and sweet, missing any fake crab meat. Seasoned potatoes were a form of poutine, fried potatoes in gravy (Canadian) Fried chicken wings were flavorless. On a positive note, my son enjoyed the lo-mein. I passed on it after seeing pork and shrimp in it. We came to the buffet to experience their food for possible future to go orders. We found their online menu missing a lot of items and just weren’t sure, so in we came. I can now say we won’t be ordering anything...
