I understand that with COVID, day-to-day changes and operations have been very difficult to manage. HOWEVER, when it came to Cinco de Mayo, the business should have been better prepared and anticipated guest needs/handled difficulties better. The company offered online order/drive thru pickup. There had been so much going on that I was unable to prepare for Cinco de mayo cooking/prepping and work was a very long day. My friend and I decided to celebrate by ordering from Anita's. We ordered at 6p, pretty hungry. There was an hour and a half wait time for pick up availability. Fine, we really wanted our order. at 7:30p we are now starving. I drove to pick up Anitas just to be told the store shut down operations and were not honoring orders...but THANK GOD they reassured me they weren't going to charge us for our order that wasn't ready nor would ever be! (sarcasm) Apparently the owners called the store and told the manager to shut it down because they were 2 hours behind on filling orders and didn't anticipate the rush. Meanwhile, online ordering was still available and when you place an order, you have to enter your phone number. Did the business call to inform us they would not be able to fulfill the order? NO. Did they try to offer a solution or resolution to the issue at 7:30p when we are starving and expecting food? NO. When asked, even the manager wouldn't answer. Just said, "well don't worry, we won't charge you." THERE ARE NO WORDS. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE is the top thing ringing in my head outside of sheer anger. I felt bad for the front line employees, but Management are a bunch of sheep and the OWNERS DO NOT HAVE ANY REGARDS FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS OR HOW TO OPERATE EFFECTIVELY. Needless to say, we settled for pizza delivery and it definitely hit the spot after this infuriating experience.
On a side note, their breakfast burritos are pretty much on point. Anita's get an A for food, F...

Pricing doesn't appear out of step when compared to like menu establishments.
The menu seems fairly varied...that being said they don't offer seafood chimichangas and that was a disappointment.
Online offers a delivery option but on the physical restaurant site and the bag the food is presented in have no mention of a delivery option...?...
Taco salad was ordered. It was okay. The shell tasted old. No beans...no corn...no cilantro...no avacado. It had taco meat..diced tomatoes...a smattering of shredded cheese. The lettuce was a mix of romain...ALOT of rib pieces and a few mixed greens. The meat ... surprisingly...was nicely seasoned and a solid amount.
Salsa,dressing--which you are given 1 "ketchup to go" cup serving of for your entire salad--and green onions were offered separately which was nice...no sogginess.
The price was $11 and change before tax. It was OK at best. What was in the salad was fresh but the rib pieces of lettuce were too abundant and the offerings were scant...bare minimum compared to others in this area.
You DO NOT get chips and salsa with your salad order...not even a small. If you desire chips and salsa they are available for an additional charge EACH.
It was a convenient choice but in no way a contender for a repeat order any time soon.
Comments on their social media appear to lean towards breakfast...
Read moreLet me start by saying I was born and raised in New Mexico. So clearly, I know good New Mexican cuisine. And there's various types of "New Mexican" food. Some of the food is influenced by the Spanish, while another by local indian tribes, and some from Mexico. We drove more than an hour to get to this restaurant, and we weren't expecting much as it's so far from New Mexico. Boy, were we in for a surprise. My wife had the chili relleno, and I had the carne adovada. Both were outstanding! We also shared a cup of green chili stew and the red chili pazole. Again, both were simply delicious. They even came with a sopapilla! We saved those for after dinner and ate them with honey and cinnamon mixed with sugar. Wow! The service was great and everyone was very friendly.
For those complaining about the salsa that comes with the chips, we thought it was wonderful. Just like back in New Mexico! This isn't Mexican food, or TexMex. So if you're looking for those flavors, try the Mexican restaurant across the street. It's the one with no cars in the...
