Today was the last straw. I have been going to office depot for more than 5 yrs now. Previously, I had good experience but from past 2 yrs this place has poor management. Past two years when I sent them the print job they never do it right!! Will list 3 incidents from many: I send them print job, when i went there to recieve it it had black lines on it. The associate was very quick to say that it was in my documents and its not their fault.but thankfully same thing happened to another customer and they later realized it was their printer. Send them a poster in full red background with pictures on it. They messed that up, it was very poor quality. They background was pink and their were white lines with poor picture quality. My husband picked it up and he gorgot to check. When I went to them, thats when they told me their printer were having issues (why not call a customer and tell them? Or maybe tell them when handing the product) such a poor customer service. I had to drive to sterling one and get the job done. Recent one, went to get the documents in color. They were all BW and the ID was cut. I was told it's in "Policy" to print ids black and white. Never heard of it and there is no such disclaimer on the website either. The ID that was cut down and only names can be seend was the only thing in color.
Please, stop with these stupid excuses and poor customer service. If you can't get the job done INFORM YOUR CUSTOMER. They are not that busy to give a call or leave an email to the customer. Or inform customer that these are the changes performed in the printing job. I hope upper management can take some action and train the employees or add in their customer service to give customer a call for all the reasons they can't do the...
Read moreI visited the Office Depot store in Leesburg, VA on Monday, June 26th at 12:45 PM to return a chair I had purchased from the Sterling store. Prior to my visit, I had called the Leesburg store and was informed that I could bring in the chair, which was improperly installed and missing pieces. However, when I arrived at the Leesburg office, the customer service provided by the lady there was extremely poor.
Despite showing her my receipt, she made various excuses to avoid accepting the return. She stated that they do not accept chairs on sale back, which contradicted what I was told during the purchase, and was not mentioned on the receipt. She wasted approximately 40-50 minutes of my time, claiming she would call the manager but then informed me she couldn't reach them. Eventually, she forced me to take the faulty chair back.
Subsequently, I visited the Sterling store, which was quite far from my home, but received excellent service. The gentleman there was polite, took back the chair without unnecessary questions, and provided a smooth return process.
I am deeply dissatisfied with the Leesburg, VA Office Depot store, and as a result, I may refrain from shopping there in the future or recommending it to friends and family. This experience has left me with a negative impression of this particular store and potentially other Office Depot...
Read moreI’ll NEVER come back to this location or any other location. Today myself and two young children visited the store to look for envelopes. I walked in and all three employees 2 males and one female were all talking loud about inappropriate things. I walked around the store for about 5 minutes; none of them asked how I was doing, if I needed help or said to let them know if I needed anything. It wasn’t until I couldn’t find the envelopes I needed that I yelled upfront for asking for someone to help me please. They ALL got quiet and then a male walked back to me and put on his professional services voice. He showed me where the item I needed was but I left.
Now what really infuriates me about this is that after they helped me other Caucasian customers came in and they acknowledged and greeted them politely AND asked them to let them know if they needed anything. This was very disappointing; I deserve the same treatment as any...
