Good pastries but what makes it 3 star is the service I’ve received both times I have been so far. The first and second time I was unsure how to order the cakes. I was under the impression that you place the order at the bakery glass (like most other bakeries I’ve been to) and then you check out with the cashier. That would be no problem if I hadn’t been completely ignored while waiting to be helped. Considering this is a new location and I have never been to a Paris baguette before, I would assume that if someone is waiting for a rather long time (in the wrong spot) to order they should be helped or at the very least greeted. There were around 6 or 7 staff members (not exact number, there were quite a few of them) behind the counter as well. The only reason I got served is because I politely asked a young man for help behind the counter. That was the first time I went. The second time (Sunday the 6th of July) was a similar experience except 1 of the 2 cashiers made eye contact and then proceeded to say nothing. Again, if that were the wrong spot to place an order for the pastries I should have been kindly notified instead of eyed by a cashier that was currently unoccupied. I was waiting to catch the attention of someone behind the glass, like I had the previous time I visited, and that time no one looked or said anything at all. After maybe 5 minutes of waiting and not being helped I went to speak to the cashier. She let me know to order at the counter and I will in the future, but the service at this location needs to improve. I don’t find myself writing reviews very often, but basic service is saying “hello, do you need any help?” when a guest is confused and idling for a while. Now I have no issue moving over to order(that’s silly), however, in a place where I am spending my money and a tip is requested I expect basic steps of service like a “hello, can I help” to...

I really hope Paris Baguette upper management is watching these posts because they need to help this store in Leesburg. My wife is from Belgium and has always complained about no good pastries here in the states, she was thrilled when Paris Baguette showed up last year in Ashburn & has been making us travel 20 minutes to the Paris Baguette in Ashburn 3 times a week for the best pastry she has had since we both moved back to the states 20+ years ago. When she heard that our hometown of Leesburg was getting a Paris Baguette she was super happy, and so was I. I wouldn't have to drive 20 minutes 3 times a week, woohoo. Well, we have a problem --- the pastries are not good. Not sure who can fix this but hopefully there is time before it hurts the PB reputation. There is not enough filling, & the custard filling is bland, the breads do not taste right & aren't puffy like they should be, and there doesn't appear to be any glaze on anything. They are nowhere near the quality of the Ashburn location. Please help fix this, my wife is now making me drive 20 minutes to go to Ashburn store again since she won't eat the pastry...
Read moreThis place has some good quality selections if their you can actually get them. They open at 6am everyday….got there past 7 am and they just starting to fill up their casings. I ask the lady in the counter what time they open and she confirmed that it is 6 am and i said not enough selections to choose from and she said they are running behind. I looked at the kitchen they have at least 6 people and only one filling up the casings. If you can’t be fully ready to open at 6 am. Dont!
Update: i stopped by today past 6:00 am today and peek at the glass door and casings are still 90 percent empty. I am an early riser looking for a good breakfast place in leesburg which we lacked. This place has good baked goods but hard to decided which to get if casings are EMPTY. I usually buy pastries for co workers but not able to do it for this place. Can’t recommend an establishment if it can’t deliver. I trying to give this place another chance but seems like their issue...
