Stopped into Weird Brothers Coffee this morning. Got myself a medium Time Lord (since I'm a Dr Who fan) A fab blend of coffee, dark chocolate and caramel. Yes it was as tasty as it sounded. You will definitely be amused at the names of the coffees you can order. Their not kidding with Weird Brothers. The young lady behind the counter was friendly and great to chat with. Actually everyone was very friendly. Beautiful shop and is the type of place you want to relax in after shopping. Now I've been to the original Weird Brothers in Herndon, this 3rd location is true to the original idea of great coffee, small batch roasting and great selection to choose from. My personal recommendation is their Embrace The Darkside blend. A dark roast that my hubby and I both enjoy, which is a rare occurrence on our morning brew. 🤣 Overall I highly recommend Weird Brothers, it's got a cool, laid back funky vibe, some nice photos on a display to check out in the back, even a few booths for some privacy. Take home a bag of coffee that they can grind for your type of coffee maker. Either by the cup or by the bag, go enjoy some awesome small batch roasted coffee from a vet owned company. You'll come back...
Read moreAs any normal shopper or guest, I expected at least a basic acknowledgment when I walked in -instead, I stood waiting for ten minutes without so much as a greeting while two employees focused exclusively on a single group of three guests. Not once was I asked if I’d like to place an order.
Ironically, when I called the shop immediately after leaving, the phone was picked up on the first ring. That contrast makes me question whether attention is given selectively, and if certain customers are simply not considered worth engaging.
This kind of treatment is not only unprofessional but also damaging to your reputation. A coffee shop should feel welcoming to every guest who walks through the door—not just a chosen few.
I hope this is addressed, because today’s experience left me with the impression that courtesy and inclusivity are optional at your establishment.

Read moreA really cute coffee shop, but it took me an hour to get my drink. They had somehow lost it. My order had 2 drinks so the first one took 45 mins to come out although we ordered at 8am with minimal people ahead of us. So I’m not sure if they mixed up our order with the people who came after us…. But then, when I asked him about the second drink in the order, they had absolutely no idea what I was talking about. Either their system malfunctioned or they completely threw away the order slip. The same thing happened to the guy right next to me who had been waiting half an hour for the second drink in his order. Once they had to ask again what I was waiting for, then it took another 15 minutes to actually get my drink. cute store, but I simply cannot come back to a place that takes over an hour for a simple...
