My intent with this review isn't to clown anyone, but the hope is the owners will see it and make improvements.
I went yesterday to this Subway (I live nearby) with a coupon which said two foot long subs for $12.99. I go there, I get the sandwiches made, and then I present the coupon. The total came out to $26 and some change. I looked at the cashier and said that's not right, but she said the coupon is not working.
I reviewed the coupon with her; the expiration date was 8/27/2023, so it was still valid.
Then the cashier calls her boss on her cell phone, they are speaking quickly in Spanish (basically I didn't understand what they were communicating to each other); then she has me talk to her boss on the phone; the boss says, "sorry, this doesn't work for certain meats"; and I said, "where does it say that on the coupon? It doesn't say that; I can just leave the sandwiches at the store and go elsewhere."; at that point, she says she wants to talk to the cashier.
In the mean time, I have a line forming behind me. Without exaggeration, the whole ordeal took more than 30 minutes...I saw two people waiting in line just leave the store (and I was starting to feel bad)...at the end, they charged me $16.40 (which was absolutely wrong, basic math tells you if something is $12.99, let's just call it $13.00 to make it simple, and you apply a 10% tax to it, the cost should be $14.30) but I paid it instead of arguing any longer. Unfortunately, the cashier wasn't well versed in English, and I'm not well versed in Spanish, so it was a struggle.
Hopefully this store can honor coupons at the correct price and have folks that can communicate with customers if a problem arises. Suffice to say, I will not be going back to this Subway for quite some...
Read moreI have been going to this Subway at Potomac Station pretty religiously couple times a week for the past 4 years. I had been away for a month and stopped into today to have lunch. I order my usual a spinach wrap w/turkey, bacon & guacamole, easy on the lettuce, tomatoes with ranch. Now this is what was stated in the advertise that come on this wrap. Today I walked in and there was two new people. The young lady waiting on me only put 6 slices of turkey on the wrap instead of 12 pieces as Subway calls for. Then only 2 pieces of bacon, Subway calls for 4 pieces. I asked I hope you plan to put more on she did not understand what I was saying and her co worker (male) told me she mistakened if for a 6 " sub. Ok they put the other pieces on then we proceeded to condiments. Told her easy on lettuce, tomatoes and guacamole. Her co worker chimes in and says that is extra. I told him no it is not and all the years I have never been charged for it. Told him he should read up on the advertisement of this wrap. It states that everything I ordered, this includes the guacamole comes with it and there is no extra charge. He proceeded to argue with me. I told him to keep the wrap and will be in touch with the owner of this store. I don't think I will come back to this store again unless I see the usually staff. Very disappointed in...
Read moreFirst time visiting this location looking for a quick dinner for the family. It appeared thére was only one person working there sat least on that evening. The person that was there didn't seem to know how to do anything and possibly didn't have proper training. Could not answer questions. The food we did get was not good. Bread was obviously old and the meat seemed dry. Toppings were not put on properly and didn't taste right. I don't go to Subway very often but definitely going to avoid this one. Edit: I forgot to mention we ordered 2 kids meals and asked what it came with and the person working...
