Update June 2023
They now have a full service bar, which is great for having a birthday party. Best Peruvian Chicken! They also have Pan Con Chicharrone which if you have ever been to Peru, you will know is the signature breakfast of Peru. Deep fried soy marinated pork served with fried sweet potato and marinated onions on a french roll. I have been searching high and low for years for a Peruvian restaraunt that serves this in the DC area and the only one I know of other than this place is Peruvian brothers (food truck).
Additionally, Pollo Inti II offers other Peruvian dishes which my wife (who grew up in Peru) and I have both tried and are good everytime. I also like this place in comparison with other Peruvian restaraunt because they don't charge extra for sauces like other places do.

Also, hanging up on a potential customer because you don't want to speak to them is not best practice. Sadly, I support this restaurant a lot even with there less than stellar review. Over time the service has definitely declined since they keep changing the staff. Guess, I need to speak a second language to order food from this establishment or I just need to go somewhere else to get latin food. The sad part, during Covid I would support them by patronizing their restaurant....

My wife had the deep fried tilapia and I ordered a whole chicken with beans and rice. The serving's were huge and there was plenty to take home. The chicken was juicy, had a perfect charcoal taste, and looked beautiful. The beans came in a molcajete and paired very well with the chicken.
We also had cheese pupusas to start. I could come here just for the pupusas. They were cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. There were many sauces to choose from. My wife had the orange sauce that came with the pupusas and I had the spicy red sauce.
The place smelled delicious, they had South American tunes that gave a sort of beach vibe, and it...
