Waffle House — Restaurant in Leesburg

We normally come here often on Wednesday nights and always have a pleasant experience. Today though our service was horrible. Never before have I ever received such bad service in my life. I’m not normally one to complain about much and I only leave 5 star reviews for places but I feel that this one deserves a bad review. Our server ARIEL, gave us an attitude after I asked for mixed jelly multiple times, all I got was “give me a minute” it seems as this was the response for all of our requests. Before we even took the order I ordered a water with no ice and I politely asked for her to bring me one without ice and she didn’t then when I asked her to fix it, “I need a minute”. My girlfriend asked for mixed jelly BEFORE she even received the food with the order. And when I tried to get some off of another table she rudely said “sir you need to take a seat”. Where is the hospitality in a place where hospitality is one of the key roles in the job, if not THE key role?Then one of my friends asked for some butter, a spoon and again I asked for my water with no ice after we got the food. Again “ you’re gonna have to give me a minute” I was served 3 sad strips of bacon not even warm. Butter on my toast after I asked for toast without butter. And no syrup for my waffle. I had to grab it off of another table while she wasn’t looking so I won’t get scolded again. It would be even better that bad of an experience if it wasn’t for the sas in every single response I got from her. Remember this is a job that requires hospitality, not sas and attitude. In the end though we probably will come back to Waffle House but if we see ARIEL as a server there an immediate 180° turn will be performed corporate is definitely hearing...

if I could leave no stars that is what I would do for this restaurant!!!! I have my own businesses and I dont like leaving bad reviews but when you walk in a 24 hour restaurant at 8pm and the cook tells your family he isn't cooking for you because he just cleaned the grill, im sorry but I had to let y'all know what type of employee you have running your business running customers straight out the door!!!!! My husband even told the guy that he owns businesses himself and you shouldn't tell customers that pay your bills that your not cooking for them because the grill is already cleaned and the employee's response was "this isn't my business!" lol people these days really have life confused, no that is not your business but that business is what pays your bills and without that business your family doesn't eat!!!! So, instead of running customers away you should be inviting them in and make that money because they will go to the restaurant down the road and with enough customers going down the road, Waffle House will have to close and there goes your job Buddy!!!! Soon there will be a kiosk inside waffle house to take orders and robots to cook the food and then where will you be lol McDonald's, Checkers, Walmart, target, etc has already started.......soon there will be no jobs for the little guys in the world!!!! Watch your cameras...

Went here sat March 7th @ 12am with a friend. Advice to any future customer. Bring a jacket. They keep the AC probably at Max Capacity all the time. It is uncomfortably kind of cold in there if you are wearing shorts and a t-shirt probably for most people. Let's start off with the service never once was my cup and the 30 to 45 minutes I was there refilled with coffee nor my friend with their Coke. Also was handed the bill at the same time the food came out. Keep in mind that this place was not all that busy at this time and there was actually an unusual three employees as opposed to just the two that I commonly see in these places. Also as I'm standing in line was one person in front of me to pay my bill the same waitress cashes out one guy in front of me offers to bring his food to his truck not for covid-19 as he wasn't wearing a mask and he was in the store to begin with she then proceeded to have me wait 4/5 minutes whereas I just left exact change for the bill and the bell next to the register and walked out. To top things off my hash browns were overdone. And it took them like forever to try to get a waffle out. Everything else...
