Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Leesburg

UPDATE 6/3/2024: I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the new Chick-fil-A location in Leesburg, Florida. Since its opening at the end of April, the drive-through experience has been highly problematic. The pilot program for the mobile drive-through lane lacks clear directional signage, leading to significant confusion for customers.

On June 3, around 5:30 PM, I encountered severe issues in the mobile drive-through lane. After placing my mobile order at home, I entered the mobile drive-through lane only to find it closed off right past the awning. This forced me to veer into the regular drive-through lane in the wrong spot, causing confusion and frustration. The lack of clear instructions and proper management of the lanes is unacceptable.

Furthermore, the overall organization of the drive-through lines has been poor since the location’s opening. The persistent long lines and disorganization highlight a failure in leadership and operational management. The decision to merge and collapse lanes without adequate communication to customers is a clear indication of ineffective leadership.

As a loyal Chick-fil-A customer, I find this situation highly disappointing. I urge you to take immediate action to address these issues and improve the drive-through experience for all customers. Proper signage, better management, and clear communication are essential to ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.

First Update: Since the launch of CFA Leesburg, I have N E V E R had a decent experience through the MOBILE Drive Thru Lane. In My Humble Opinion, a FAILURE launching successfully. I am 100% of the time not getting the appropriate amount of straws for my drinks, ALWAYS short. I am either missing an order item like fries or watching my food for the office or for my home go COLD because I’m TRAPPED in the MOBILE Drive Thru lane because I’m 4th in line from the front getting my food before the three cars cars ahead of me waiting almost 10 minute to be freed from the line.

This location is located next to the community college or now it’s called a state College but this location has a drive-through and it also has a lane has a lane just for pick up orders like DoorDash and Uber eats so you can come in through the lanes close the restaurant the building is huge I mean you can fit maybe looks like you could fit in there and there’s plenty of parking lots of parking and most of all the location is next to a big road like a big highway a major road so it’s easy to come in and kinda easy to get out the food was exceptional. I mean it was so tasty. The chicken🐢 has a certain type of taste to it. That makes me wanna come back every single time don’t even get me started on the waffle fries I literally particularly only eat first the waffle fries and then I’ll take a drink of the soda, but I only eat the waffle fries and one of those type of people that only eats one item completely at a time I’ve seen a lot of people where they eat a piece of chicken and then they’ll eat a piece of waffle fries and then they’ll drink their drink. You know take a sip of the drink Whether it’s tea soda water whatever it is, but I’m one of those people that likes to eat and only eat like one item at a time like I’ll eat the chicken that the chicken sandwich and I’ll eat the whole chicken sandwich and once I’m finally finished with the chicken 🐿️sandwich and then I’ll start to eat my waffle fries, but I will only eat all my waffle fries completely done and then once I’m finished with my waffle fries, I’ll go drink my soda completely done so yes, the food was exceptionally tasty. I very much enjoyed it even though I do carry a couple of extra pounds you can’t really notice it cause it kind of goes to my well certain regions on my body, but that doesn’t mean that I can’t give a good honest review and again this location it was probably one of my favorite all-time location Cause it’s got again a big restaurant and it’s got two lanes. I don’t usually write reviews often but I feel like I need to for this location, while the leesburg location is fairly new it is absolutely the worst chick fil a I have ever been to. Everytime and I mean EVERYTIME we go through the drive through they mess up the order and give us the complete wrong thing or don’t put half of our food in the bag. Last night we went and we were missing our Mac and cheese they gave us the Mac and cheese after giving us a big stink about it and asking for our receipt which they didn’t even give to us after we ordered and I didn’t realize until this morning they never gave us the fruit cup we ordered either. Both times I’ve been here for breakfast I’ve ordered a scramble bowl and both times they’ve given me a burrito instead. Everytime i order a large cup of ice they give me a medium (not a huge deal it’s just ice) but like get it together. The food here is also so bland taste like they don’t use any seasoning at all. the service isn’t friendly.. They get aggravated when you have to tell them you’re missing half your food or that they messed up your order. I’m sorry but this shouldn’t be happening at every visit, being a newer store doesn’t give them an excuse either they’ve been open long enough and should have this location running better than it does.

I’ve learned my lesson and had enough problems with this location that I won’t be returning to this one. If you live in the area or your just passing through just listen to me and take the extra 10 minutes and drive to the mount Dora location where they care about their customers, they’re always polite, you’ll get everything you order & the food actually taste good, you’ll be...
