Service was okay, the dining area is very small and a makeshift dining room. The food was ok. I ordered biscuits and gravy when the plate was given to me I could see the gravy was thick, grainy and only had 2-5 pieces of sausage in it. The biscuit wasn’t fluffy or flaky at all. The gravy was pasty, bland, no taste at all what so ever, besides a cornstarch taste. The French toast my kids ordered were basically black so my kids were hesitant to try. It tasted okay. Hubby ordered a BLT with a side of fries. The sandwich was small and it didn’t really have a lot of bacon. The fries were soggy and clumped together. I had ordered bacon but i never got it. The OJ I ordered was bottled- which is ok but it has a expiration date or 6/12/21 and today’s 6/20/21. I maybe came in expecting too much. I left feeling indifferent. It is for some people but not for me...

We where the 1st one in on a quite morning (Sunday March 21), soon there was 3 more tables. Our server dropped our drinks on the table and disappeared never took our order. It wasn't until the other server was finished taking the other 3 tables orders did she notice we still had the menus and she finally took our order.

My husband ordered the pancakes to be honest they looked and tasted like frozen pancakes you would get Walmart.

I ordered biscuits and gravy. The biscuit tasted pasty! And the gravy well lets just say it tasted like corn starch, water and milk with a little bit of sausage thrown on it.

A lady at the other table was complaining that the water for her hot chocolate wasn't even hot. How sad is that you can't even get hot water.

Folks this is just food for thought but I can guarantee you neither one of my grandfathers would...

Saw the place with Grand Pappy's sign that stated" not fast food" and sounded like something I would like to try with the breakfast sign on the window. As we were drive home my daughter said she was hungry so we drove here and after walking in was greeted and sat down to eat. Had a great home feel everyone was very nice. Small dining room area so gives the home table kind of feel. Food was good and fast. Very friendly service! Will be back they also had a sign in area when you come back you start receiving free or...
