I went into wendy's for lunch at which time i was greeted by a friendly smile & a kind woman. Apparently this was her second day of working here & she had another lady that was suppose to be helping her. However, that lady took my coupon & took 10 minutes & still couldn't figure it out so she went & asked her general manager but then she realized the coupon had been trying a different number then the one on the coupon. I was waiting for my food & i overheard the new cashier ask the other woman "did you put the food coupon in the register" then all of a sudden the general manager came out to the front counter insisting that the new cashier swore at the other lady. I just don't think she knew what to say at that point when they said that probably because she was being attacked at the front counter. I feel that it was very unprofessional to attack her at the front counter especially being as it was her second day when she was being a good friendly cashier. The general manager told her to go home for the day & she'd be told if she could come back later on. Honestly the lady that was helping her never seemed to smile or have any type of friendliness in any matter. This changes my perspective on whether i will return to Wendy's in...
Read moreI went through the drive thru today and ordered a burger and coke. The ladies at the window were extremely nice. As I drove off, I quickly tasted my drink because I've been given the wrong drink way too many times in a drive thru (not just Wendys). Well, it was Dr. Pepper instead of Coke. I was on my lunch break from work so no time to waste, but i had to park and go in (in the rain) to have them switch it out. The young girl at the front counter (unfortunately didn't catch her name) was less than friendly...almost like I was inconveniencing her. I told her the problem and she got me a Coke. As I'm about to walk away she points to the Dr. Pepper and says "I can't take that back"....which I'm thinking "ok, I assume you're just gonna pour it out". And I say ok, just throw it away. She then tells me "you can throw it away". Mind you this was YOUR mistake, not mine. I'm on my lunch break and already inconvenienced by having to park and come inside, then you want ME to throw the Dr. Pepper away?? I did....because I'm trying to be a good example for this young rude girl....but I sure did want to walk right out of the door and leave that Dr. Pepper sitting there because I guarantee she would have thrown...
Read moreI started coming here for the nuggets because my kid likes them more then other places. Today I ordered a chicken sandwich biggie bag with a lemonade and sauce then a kid meal, two cookies and a frosty. Tell me how it took them almost five minutes to take my money, maybe they was training good reason but then I get my food and the lady is handing me extra stuff. She gave me a Dr. Pepper I didn't order because to me their sodas are gross yet she said I did I don't recall saying pepper but whatever give it here since I paid for it already and I'm to exhausted to deal with it also no receipt anymore? Then I look in the bags and I have potato wedges? I definitely didn't order them because I didn't know they had them to begin with. They gave me one straw for four drinks yea that makes sense thanks. Only one in the drive thru also so how you mess up this bad? I stopped going to burger king because they went down hill seems like Wendy's is next. I worked in the restaurant industry I get mistakes happen but adding food to orders is...
