Pioneer Market — Local services in Lehi

I wanted to find a smaller grocery store than Super Walmart and found this one. It’s got all the products of a large store and it’s less crowded. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful finding where the items were I was looking for particularly sliced frozen bananas. The staff person actually went to the aisle and showed me exactly where to find them. He did with a smile. I really appreciated that positive attitude. The cashier told the bag person to help me to my car and although I don’t drive or own a car I thought that very sweet of her to suggest that. I don’t like the hassle of Super Walmart and I’m going to be doing my shopping here . The prices are good and reasonable. The only thing I couldn’t find was 1/2 gallon of coconut milk. They did have the cans of coconut milk milk but I wanted 1/2 gallon. Other than that everything was fully stocked and like I said the sale items were clearly marked and I found many. There’s a leaflet paper as you in with the sale items. A big plus to me is the rewards program.They send you an email every month telling you how much you have and how much it converts to in dollars. Since the store’s remodel I noticed a photo printing machine, and today I finally decided to try it out. Perhaps I was a little too ambitious, because I printed more photos than the little machine could handle! The staff were so helpful and patient even when the machine ran out of paper and then the ribbon needed to be replaced, too. They easily could have canceled my order or told me the machine was broken, but instead they worked really hard for over half an hour to get the photo machine back in order for me so I could get my pictures. I am very impressed and grateful for their patience. Particularly it was Terry who helped me out, so once again thank you! Karen also got me a seat while I waited, which was so kind. The best grocery experience in Utah. The most friendly people.

We once had an episode with an Autistic 4 year old who started throwing and knocking down items. Staff was so kind and patient. They offered to keep my cart in the cooler while I calmed my son down and took him home. They also gave him a balloon. I returned a few hours later, and they were still so kind. After that, they offered to assist in any way and even remembered his name. This was 20 years ago, and we have been loyal ever since.
