Ever heard the phrase: fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me? Well, shame on me for continuing to go to this Dunkin. This tiny location is on an already busy road at a busy intersection, creating all sort of traffic issues. The parking lot is minuscule and in staggeringly poor condition. The building itself looks to be in fair to poor condition, and it was dirty inside with peeling floor stickers and ragged stools. Restaurant staff is a revolving door of new faces, likely because management can’t keep people working in these conditions for the pay offered. Ordering ahead won’t matter, you will still wait, and they will never call your name or order (they didn’t call a single name or order for a mobile order while I was there). I watched staff outright ignore a woman trying to get their attention until she resorted to yelling across the counter. Multiple times I’ve gotten incorrect or incomplete orders. I had plenty of time to take in the atmosphere, too, watching order after order get called before I caught a glimpse of them putting my sandwich bag and coffee on the mobile order tray. I ordered ahead and roughly 20-25 minutes later, my food and coffee were ready. Save yourself the frustration and drive up to The Perch in Jim Thorpe.
Also- there is no drive through at this location. I think I saw a review that mentions a drive through. It doesn’t exist. You order ahead or you order in the restaurant, and then you stand...
Read moreI order a coffee from here every morning before my 14 hour shift, sometimes I get a good coffee and other times it's completely disgusting. Today I received a large mocha iced coffee with cream and I drove off and took a sip and it was stale and had no mocha, I was tired of getting bad service so I turned around went back and asked the woman to fix it she fixed it and it didn't taste like mocha again, she fixed it a couple more times and I don't know what they were doing but it did not taste like mocha so I feel like they were getting mad at me because I wanted my coffee to taste good and they were being cocky and the woman began laughing and put an over abundance of mocha syrup in my coffee I drove off tasted it and it tasted disgusting like I was eating a chocolate bar. All I asked for was two more pumps of mocha. My coffee went from tan and bland to chocolatey and black. Very dissatisfied with my service, this is not the 1st time this has happened. I do not understand how yesterday my coffee was perfect and today my coffee was disgusting. The fact that your staff thought they could get rid of me by putting an over abundance of an additive in my coffee Is completely unacceptable this is your job to make coffee the way people like it. I've wasted a lot of money getting coffees that were nasty, so corporate...
Read moreI've been going here almost everyday since I moved, it's my go to and it's convenient since it's on my daily commute to Philly, food is decent, not really a fan of how things are made and put in a heating tray, and then for things to still be cold. The place itself is great and so are the people, one guy who i forget to catch his name everything who helps prep the food always calls me out by my name and it give that personal feeling that is lacked in other places. Today 12/3 was a bit of a let down, not because of the food...but because of the coffee, a gentleman made me my usual and unfortunately I gave it back and asked if I can have more coffee in it since it tasted like water down milk and he gave me a cup ton pour in...that didn't fix it unfortunately and I asked for it to be made again and he gladly did, still tasted like water down milk I didn't say anything and just took my lose and threw it away, oh well. Aside from that great place, great...
