Firehouse Subs Leland Town Center — Restaurant in Leland

Normally have a great experience coming to this location. Everyone has been very pleasant and helpful. However today around 2:20 p.m. the middle age man, with the scruffy beard and black shirt behind the counter was very rude despite the mistake made when making the sandwich.

My girlfriend ordered a mini turkey and cheese sandwich cold, which was specified we didn't want it toasted. When it came out toasted we asked for it to be made cold, non-toasted. The employees response was "well this is firehouse, all our subs are toasted" then proceeded to act like it was a massive inconvenience for him. The irony in my opinion is that the younger high school age employees were more helpful and friendly than who I assume to be the manager.

Again, normally this is a great spot that always makes the subs cold when asked, with no complaints. My girlfriend was very respectful, hopefully the employee learns better manners. But you know the saying... can't teach an old dog new tricks, so I don't expect much...

For the first time, I walked into the Firehouse Sub shop in Leland. What a pleasant experience! The customer service was outstanding! The shop was very clean. The three young ladies were very busy preparing orders, both from customers in the shop and web orders. They were so upbeat. I asked them how long the restaurant has been open and one of the ladies replied "in three days, it will be two years.". I was so impressed! By the way, the Italian sub was awesome! As I finish up this last bite, I have to say it has to be one of the most pleasant and satisfying restaurant experiences I've had in years. You guys...

What a disappointment! The ingredients were rationed and didn't even cover the roll completely. Note that if you don't tell them everything you want on that sub, they do not offer any options. I have never gotten a sub without lettuce and tomatoes....and never remembering to ask for it. If you order a turkey sub you get turkey on the bun (rationed portion) No condiments unless you tell them. They don't ask "would you like mayo or oil, lettuce & tomatoes...?" Last visit there, can't recommend it given the many superior...
