Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Lemon Grove

CREDIT CARD FRAUD BEWARE!!!!. ZERO STARS!!! Avoid this location and much less use your ATM or credit card here. The employee's are stealing card information. I went through the drive through on Sunday 5/15/23. The girl at the drive through window took a while to come back to the window. She returned to tell me the card "has been locked". Which sounded odd to me, how would she know it was locked? There was more than sufficient funds in my account. I payed with cash and as I began to drive away, I received an automated call from my bank telling me my card has been LOCKED due to "suspicious activity" at this location (Popeye's). I had to call the bank to reactivate my card. A couple days later, I noticed some charges which were not mine. I called the bank to dispute and was told there were 4 other charges attempted that did not go through. One for $120, one for $85, one for $560 and another for $55. I had to cancel my card and now have to wait for several days to receive my new card. Not to mention having to add a new card to ALL my online accounts. Went through the drive thru, total was $67 (feeding a family of 5)... got to the window, pulled out credit card, she said "Um our card machine has been down for a little bit, we are trying to fix it, do you have cash you can pay with" (why wouldn't they say that FIRST thing before taking an order?!?!?!?), I informed her that we did not have cash on hand... she got a little anxious as her manager was standing right behind her; she turns to her manager and says that we don't have cash, so the manager had her tell us to come inside and they can probably run our card inside. Our food is sitting on the counter, mind you, waiting for the pass off. My hubby went inside, and they RETOOK HIS ORDER, AND MADE HIM ALL NEW FOOD, AND LOW AND BEHOLD IT WAS WRONG!!!! We ordered popcorn chicken (for our nephew) they gave popcorn shrimp, which we smelled on the ride home, we asked for SPICY chicken, it wasn't... it was my first, and last Popeyes experience (I was so excited to try it) I will never go back, it left such a miserable impression on me, thanks but...

I had a horrible experience with a so called Manager named Erika. I would give her customer service a Zero. Yesterday, I placed my order totaling over $32! The young man who placed my order was very polite. However, my Large Red Beans and Rice and 2 Banama Crème pies were NOT in the bag. I spoke with the manager on call yesterday evening who told me to come back to request the forgotten items today after I gave her my name. Erika was VERY condesending and treated me like I was wrong for asking for a concession to be added telling me No she can't do it and that Previous manager did not follow the right process and asked for the receipt. I advised to give my name and did not have it. Erika was rude by questioning and lecturing me for an error that was made my her employee.
