Ok my friends here’s a perfect example to go along with this earlier post. Lowell Girbert and I just came from Petros in Lenoir city. We originally were going someplace else and the Girbs said, I want a Petros hotdog. Definitely a God intervention. A man walked in , obviously either homeless or struggling. The young man working the counter immediately asked what he would like and prepared it. Then he said, would you like a baked potato also and here’s a drink. I couldn’t help observe this entire act of genuine kindness. Not a bit of judgement or questioning. That’s kindness. That is also what makes someone recommend a store, a restaurant, a business or facility. We went over and talked to him and he asked if I knew any farm owners where he could get day work. David Thompson I gave him the church info. When we want a quick snack, I guarantee you where we will go. You support those that help others. You recommend those that are kind....
Read moreMy family loves Petros, we had our first Petros at a University of Tennessee Football game. Anytime we are in the Lenoir City area we hit Petros. We host foreign exchange students, and even they love a Petros with everything except 🌶 , they mix it up and have theirs with pasta, my girls are all a fritos group. Me, I can go either way. I get mine with 🌶. Either way, we love the chili cheese and garnishments that blend together in to a delightful taste, one you can enjoy anytime. Not just at football games, anytime is the right time for a Petros. Oh, I almost forgot about their tea, they said with a hint of orange, but I taste a bit of clove, which I like. As someone who loves Ice, Petros as that nice soft pebble type like Sonic it just puts the cherry on top of the whole meal. Well now they are open for dining it again, All is right with the...
Read morePros: Tea was outstanding! Service was good. Bathrooms and interior clean. Nice concept and nearly everything is gluten free naturally..not an intentional marking gimmick. I went through drive through but came inside to eat.
Cons: Took nearly 6 minutes for a Hot Dog and a tea in drive through with only one car in front of me that got 3 cups of Chili which is already made- just have to put in containers. Hot Dog was excellent in quality but made and packaged poorly. Bun was smashed and soggy and closed around the dog sot he topping were just balancing on top and fell off...no way to eat it while driving. They forgot mustard.
I will return to see if the same order is improved or not..and I would recommend as they have a niche menu of items you cannot get...
