So in mid January I placed an online order at this location. I have 5 people in my household so my order was $33. A few moments later I pulled up at the location in Lenoir to get my order and noticed a sign on the door. The sign stated they closed at 3 p.m. that day due to bad weather. Well the online order was placed at 3:15!! The online ordering should have already been cut off!!! But I took it as a temporary loss and figured eventually Iād get my money back. I went on the app to attempt to cancel it, there was no option for that. I spoke to a chat bot and someone from Reataurant Brands International emailed me back. I was told they would forward the information to the right place so that I would be refunded. I called the store and was told they have ā no controlā over online orders! Well today has been two weeks and I STILL have not gotten a refund! I would even accept store credit or a a gift card. This is terrible customer service all the way around! It was not my fault this restaurant was closed, nor my fault they took my money for food I did not receive! Now this latest email from Restaurant Brands International has said something about it being different franchise owners⦠thatās beside the point! No one is going to go bankrupt by doing the right thing in this situation! Iām patient, and Iām kind. But I will not stop until something is done about this! I work very hard for my money to provide for my family and food is already overpriced! If I was in any way at fault I would take it as a loss, but I am not at fault in any...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHorrible Service!! I just currently left the Lenoir, NC Firehouse Subs location at 12:42pm on 06/05/21. The service was ridiculous. I had placed an online order. My food was ready when promised BUT, I had to ask for my drink cup. The lady on the line making the sandwiches that I asked, acted like she couldnāt be bothered. I had grabbed a nearby cup that was sitting with the to go orders. They were only regular sized cups and I remembered I ordered large drinks, so I asked her where the large cups were. She YELLED, āYOU HAVE TO THROW THOSE CUPS AWAY NOW!ā And shrugged her shoulders, acted annoyed and like it was killing her to tell me that Iād have to go get one up there. She didnāt even specify that she meant from the cashier. I thought she meant beside the fountain where you get your drink because she didnāt specify and that would make most sense. But when I got to the drink fountain there werenāt any cups, so I finally went and asked the cashier. It was a very unpleasant experience and I felt like a nuisance. They were there to give customer service! Thatās their job! I paid good money to eat Firehouse Subs because thatās my favorite Sub restaurant, Subway isnāt the same. Last time i went an hr before they closed and they were selling any of their hot sandwiches. All the chairs were up and floors were being mopped and everyone was in the back except for one person so i am guessing they were trying to close early.
Today was another issue. As soon as I came in, all five workers were being extremely loud and hollering about their personal lives. Even when I was ordering, the cashier was hollering to one of the other workers about their personal lives. While i was waiting for food, the workers there were making obnoxious jokes well. I understand the job life especially as high schoolers, cause they all seemed like they were in high school, but should definitely start looking at what staff is doing/saying while customers are in...
