Horrible. Picked this place based on the fabulous reviews. Huge mistake. Worst margarita I've ever had. Bottom shelf mix. No tequila in it. Ordered two additional shots and it didn't help. Four sauces were brought out...a salsa which was just canned tomato sauce with a few seasonings, a bean sauce which was completely flavorless, a ranch that was so sweet it should have served as desert, and a mango salsa which was decent. They need to get rid of all that stuff and focus on a quality fresh salsa or at least open a jar of store bought. Anything would be an improvement. The cheese dip was good and had just a bit of heat on it. Pollo Fundido was had prepared and fried nicely. Good dish. The flautas were okay. Our waiter was struggling even though the restaurant was half empty. He seemed to only have 5-6 tables but was obviously in the weeds. I specifically requested a small piece of foil for my leftovers but he still brought a huge box. I didn't need that for one flauta. Since it took him so long to bring the box I left it my food behind. It wouldn't be missed much anyway. After all that the bill was ridiculous. Almost $30 for the margaritas. No prices were listed on the beverage page. They weren't even top shelf. Do yourself a flavor and give this place a huge miss.

The food was okay, not bad by any means but definitely nothing fancy. I'd compare it to a sit down version of Americanized Mexican fast food. Not a ton of flavor, just kinda basic for a quick meal. Definitely inexpensive, and the food came out extremely quick. Service was good, and the $2 drink special was a deal. Place was clean. Can't really complain for the price.

The food was really good and the service was excellent. Chewy was our server and he was on top of it. I never once had to wait on drink and neither did my wife. The food was very flavorful and we got 5 different types if dip, which were all good in their own right. The price wasn't bad either, especially since we had enough food to make another meal out of it.

Worst restaurant experience in the whole city of Lenoir. I would have rather ate food from a gas station. The staff was very rude and very unprofessional. Me and my wife and son arrived at 10. 30 mins before closing. After we are sat down at a table and told by the wait staff that we can order and eat inside the restaurant, our waitress proceeded to tell us that we must order our food to go and could not eat here. Keep in mind it is just now 10:05 at this point. So we proceed to order our food and almost everything we decide we want or decide to order, we are told they can’t make that because it’s too late. My son and wife ordered quesadillas! And we’re told it was too late to order a quesadilla that they couldn’t make them this late. All around dos amigos has turned out to be the worst restaurant experience I have ever experienced in lenoir. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone and I don’t recommend anyone ever come here to eat. Horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible...

Ate dinner there this evening. We ordered the Texas Fajitas for two. Unfortunately, we are unable to refer anyone to it. There was absolutely no taste to anything on the plate. There should have been some sort of fajita seasoning, at least, but even that wasn't present. Whether you were chewing on the beef, chicken or shrimp, there was absolutely no distinguishing of the three. All of them tasted as if they had been boiled, thrown on a grill with onions and served. We requested some queso to pour over it for moisture or flavor, and were charged $3.35 for a small saucer of queso. Since the dish contained no rice, I requested a small amount on the side. We were charged an additional $2.65 for a small plate of rice. Our bill, with a tea and coke, was $35.00. Never again. We can and do recommend the Mayflower or Hannah's, the only other restaurants we've had the opportunity to try in...
