My fiancé and I went here last night for our first date night in a while, and had a horrible experience. After entering and waiting a few minutes to be seated, we ended up needing to walk through the restaurant to the other entrance to see a waitress to be seated. When reaching this waitress she stood staring at us for a moment with this look on her face that I don't know how to describe but, it was very uncomfortable to be on the other end of it. We had already said Hello and so I spoke up again and asked if they were still doing entrées and she said back to me "We close at 1230" which confused us because I hadn't asked anything that would have been answered by what time they close at, so disregarding her statement we asked to be seated, she asked if it was just us, gave us 1 menu to share and, seated us while asking for our drink orders right then. She came back with our drinks, and the same attitude sadly, and took our order which was just a dessert and a man brought it out to us. She then came back to the table, not to ask how it was but to drop of the check and walk away saying something that neither of us understood as she walked away because it was more of a mumbling of something. We waited confused again because we could see her standing around and she could clearly see us as well sitting there waiting for her to come take our bill but she never did. So we ended up having to get up from our table and walk to the back to the registers and waited to pay. She had an awful attitude from a few minutes after we walked through the door... Because we were ignored for a few minutes. If we hadn't been ignored like that than it would have been the very minute we walked in the door and we were very polite to her, very respectful even though it was hard to be kind to someone with an ugly expression like this on their face while they're staring back at you. This waitress did not initiate any kind of communication between us. No 'good evening will it just be the _ of you tonight?' she never bothered to see if we wanted another drink or if we were enjoying everything. She couldnt even come collect our bill. Her attitude definitely had an impact on our night. The way she was looking at us for our entire stay there made us feel very uncomfortable, and we felt like we were very unwanted guests, we just felt like she was a little insulting.    Read moreI ordered Applebees to go for my family as Iâm sick and had no energy to cook⊠sounds great only it wasnât! I got to Applebees parked and notified the restaurant what spot I was in at 6:50 PM, she told me okay your order is done it just needs to be packed and we will bring it out. 30 mins go by itâs now 7:20 I call again and say should I come in to get it, whatâs going on!? Again tells me itâs busy it still hasnât been packed we are getting to it. Mind you I am at the restaurant and kid you not it was the slowest night Iâve ever seen at Applebees. I go inside at 7:30 they tell me itâs still not packed we had a catering order they are packing. At this point Iâm annoyed 40 mins to pack food and itâs just sitting there is ridiculous! I offered to go back there and pack it myself as I was waiting 40 mins, other customers come in they tell them the same thing just a moment it needs to be packed but 2 seconds later they bring them their order. This is when I said enough I want to speak with the manager. I explain to him I placed and order 1 1/2 hours ago and been waiting over 40 mins for âit to be packedâ his response is no no thatâs not the case and he walks back into the kitchen. He comes back with my order and tells me it was his mistake he dropped my chicken sandwich! Iâm sorry I am a cook and it does not take over 40 mins to recook a chicken sandwich that is already premade. I told him itâs not right Iâm waiting for an order to be packed to go for almost an hour and they tell me itâs okay itâs under a warmer! Idc I want my food to get home for my kids to be feed. He knew I was pissed and they were wrong so told me wait Iâll go get you a coupon!!! No thanks I already waited long enough Iâm not waiting for a 10$ coupon. I take my food and leave only to have nasty ice cold food my chicken sandwich I think was the one dropped on the floor. It was so old dry and nasty looking my dog wouldnât even eat it.    Read moreMy fiancĂ© and I are considered regulars. We usually have a good experience sitting at the bar when we are waited on by Lori. Unfortunately we went on a Sunday when Lori was not there and we had someone named Sam whoâs never helped us before. She asked to card us which we found strange because we are in their 3-4 times a week and everyone knows us including the manager Matt. Apparently, they failed a sting so now they pick and choose who they want to ID. When we showed them our IDâs they said they could not accept my fiancĂ©s since it is a paper one given to him by the RMV until his physical one comes in the mail. It is still a legal ID but they failed to take care of us. Another customer at the bar asked why they didnât ID him? And Sam responded with well I trust you. So are they now accusing us of not being trustworthy even though we are regulars and never had a problem before? Also, if you fail a sting that means that you should be checking IDâs of every single person that comes to the bar, not picking and choosing who you want to ID. By law, anyone who gets served alcohol needs to be IDed. Overall I said to the manager they would no longer be getting service from us, which is really unfortunate because we have lived in the area for four years and have been going there weekly...
