Spiceez Shawarma & Grill — Restaurant in Lewisburg

I am so disappointed. We have looked forward to this place for weeks. We went in today and we waited 45 min for the family of 4 infront of us. Not to mention there were people seated waiting before them. All our food was wrong with food missing. 75 dollars for 3 wraps is insane. All our wraps were wrong because they put it into a toaster without labeling the customer.i questioned my daughters wrap as a falafel wrap and we were told it was chicken. Well nope it was falafel. We expected so much more for the price. The girls were good but overwhelmed with 4 customers. This has potential but we will probably never visit again. All the sides were wrong that we ordered. So they just gave us sides we didn't order. Flavor was well ok but not what we expected. Prices are insane. There were 2 girls working out front of the business and the rest sat out front or watched the girls work. This place could be huge with bucknell but no one will deal with the wait and mistakes. Service was good. Food was not impressive. Would have been fine for a $10 shwarma. The meat was cold, too much onion. Dry. They took the meat out of some warm pot, not meat hanging where its supposed to be for shwarma. Fries were good. Most items on menu N/A but that is fine they are new. Atmosphere was really bad. More of a takeout place I would say. There was constant noise of some exhaust or something so we had to speak loudly. The main door was open and it was really cold. A few customers smarter than us closed that door and it became a little better.

I didn’t have very high expectations, but since this is a new business, I wanted to give it a fair chance. Unfortunately, I was still quite disappointed. Putting aside the portion size, the meat itself tasted genuinely unpleasant- I’m not even sure how that flavor was achieved. On top of that, the garnish inside the wrap, especially the pickles and tahini sauce, completely overpowered everything else. It almost seemed like they were trying to mask the taste of the meat.
