The only thing good about this place is the happy hour drinks.
Each time I have had a burger here it has been dry and without any real flavor unless you start using add ons.
Welp I decided to try the Smasher to see if things have changed and they have for the worse. First impressions are everything and well when I opened it. My burger was upside down and covered in grease. Literally making it unedible due to the amount of grease, then the meat not only look unappealing it had no crispy edges at all honestly looks nothing like what is advertised. So I spent $7.00 on a burger, learning once again that Sonic is not ideal for a good burger. Desserts and drinks yes. Anything cooked, you're better off elsewhere.
Please rename the Smasher to, The Sloppy Geasey. Because there was nothing crispy about my grease soaked bun and meat.
Is this the standard throwing the featured burger upside down in the box in a pool of grease for the box to absorb? Is grease supposed to leak from out of the box and all over the bag and napkins as well? You can see from the pictures where the grease was leaking out of the box. Is there no standard or this is the standard?
This is why people should start paying after they get their food so places like this can start changing their ways. Instead of customers getting ripped off for bad food and wrong orders.

Read moreGood food. Once we were able to talk to someone, our food came out quick TLDR: we had a bad experience due to what I’m hoping were only technical issues.
We showed up during lunch rush, around 12:10. We pushed the button at stall 11 around 12:15. No one answered and the screen showed the red button was no longer activated. We ordered through the app, smoothly, payment cleared and it came time to check into our stall. We tried to select 11 but it kept spinning and showed that it didn’t work. We assumed it was just a bad stall, so we went to stall 33. We tried to list that stall through the app, but it showed the same error every time we tried. We pressed the button and after a few times of the screen showing it was taking our order we finally got to tell them we were trying to check in our online order. They eventually found it and told us it had been set to stall 11, and they moved it to 33 for us. Food came quickly after that. (12:40ish) We pressed the button again to get some mustard for our corndog while we ate. We finished eating and looked over and found that our button had been deactivated again. (12:50ish) We went home because we realized if we had gone home when we first realized we needed mustard we would have had it already.

Read moreA few months ago I would have given this location and Sonic in general a four out of five stars. Recently though quality has diminished in service and app functionality. Two visits ago I never got any food because the app would charge my card but then error out stating to reorder again. I had reordered a few times and it charged my card each time. Each time the app errored out and I couldn't get any food. In the end all of those charges were refunded so good news on that but it doesn't help that for a time period there were multiple charges on my card until that refund was processed about a day later. My last trip they missed an entire order of large mozzarella sticks and made two burgers incorrectly. The app seemed to work on this trip good news there I guess but this all seems to coincide with them adding a tip functionality. The US needs to go away from tipping practices to begin with and just pay employees a fair wage. This option that has been added to the app has decreased my perspective of Sonic greatly and makes me concerned about how well employees there are paid. I will be limiting my visits to Sonic here into the future and the only reason why I will go is sometimes they do offer some types of products I can't easily get it at...
