7 Brew Coffee — Restaurant in Lexington

First I would like to say this place is scored a 73 from the health department and that is absolutely disgusting they dont even serve food and they are scored that low. I didnt even see the score until I drive back down for a refund. I ordered a small iced blondie and paid $6.14 for it (I also gave a $1 tip). When I swiped my card the transaction went through because I received a notification on my phone from my bank. I get to the front to get my coffee and they tell me the transaction didn't go through, I told them it did and showed them my bank statement, they still had me swipe my card AGAIN and again I get a notification on my phone that I spent $6.14 at 7Brew. The manager told me I could come back in 2 days for a refund if it posts twice to my account which it did I showed the proof of payment and money was deducted twice.

The customer service is sub par. A customer shows proof of payment through a bank and it is still disregarded and made to pay yet again. I have to drive 35 minutes from Georgetown to Lexington for this when I shouldn't. It is an inconvenience to me that proof if payment isn't good enough for this location.

I would like to add I already emailed the info email for 7 brew on Monday before even writing this review and there is no response still so I don't want a reply comment saying "email us here to discuss further" you guys clearly...

 7Brew is my FAVORITE coffee spot!! I love how customizable all of the drinks are. Because the drinks are so customizable the first time visiting can be a little overwhelming so definitely check the menu before you go(or ask a brewesta). It's a great spot to get your morning coffee as the prices are pretty comparable to many other popular coffee places. While yes 7Brew is mainly a drive through, some locations do have a walk up window. I also really appreciate how friendly the staff are. I have been to many locations in many different states and at every single one that I have visited the brewistas(7Brew employees) have been so nice. A few of them have even given me amazing drink recommendations. My favorite drink right now is a strawberry smoothie with chocolate blended into it. Another thing I think is super cool about 7Brew is how many promotions they do. Each month on the 7th day they do a promotion from seven in the morning to seven at night. This month (October 2025) they are giving out free tote bags with the purchase of two medium or large drinks. They also did a promotion on 9/29/2025 where they gave out free state stickers with any purchase. One thing that can be annoying is having to wait in super long lines during peak hours. But the lines do move quickly so you will only be adding a max of 10 extra minutes...

I used to come to this location multiple times and I was making it a morning routine of mine to come in at 6 in the morning to grab coffee before work but the last 6 times I’ve gone I would have to watch the cars before me drive off, if I wasn’t waiting that long it wouldn’t have been a big deal but this morning of 10/09/25 I came in a little before 6am and didn’t leave until 6:28, when I got in line there were only 4 cars ahead of me so I was ready for a 10 minute wait. Unfortunately I got to watch 16 cars (not the original 4) pass me by while I waiting on my medium 7brew energy drink and my medium blonde. I spent half an hour in line which during the entire time I was uncomfortable, I was late to work, and my blondie didn’t have oatmilk in it so I ended up with an upset stomach at work. There is a Starbucks right down the road and a dunkin across the street so I really don’t need to go to any...
