Slim Chickens — Restaurant in Lexington

Slim Chicken, what is going on???? I promise I wanted to write a good review...that I even tried you guys 3 different times!!! Online order, food was great wings were on point, decided to top it off with a strawberry cheesecake jar!!! Why not have the perfect meal (football, wings, and desert). They got the order correct, football game was horrible (no fault to slim chickens, just a rough time to be a raiders fan), but the jar, though, was definitely your fault (even if I can't complain if the slightly drunkenness from the fermented strawberries, made the game enjoyable, just not the jar).

drive-through order, order was correct, hot and fresh...so fresh feathers were still on a few wings (one no biggie, but 3, we gotta talk)

Dine-in was pretty good, that's way I couldn't give you'll one star... but we have to do better on the feathers. So, I think I will stick to the grilled tenders from now on.

Please understand I am a fan of slim chickens for years, and was very excited when you'll arrived in Lexington...just disappointed...

We unfortunately were unable to try this restaurant on its opening day because of the power outage due to its neighboring businesses catching fire, but the anticipation wasn't worthwhile... We got the buffalo Mac and cheese bowl, the chicken club sandwich meal, some wings and their fried pickles. By far the buffalo Mac and cheese bowl was the best but they could dile down the buffalo sauce to cheese ratio forsure! The chicken club wasn't bad but it wasn't anything special to write home about and neither are their fries... Very basic but not terrible. The wings left much to be desired as the quality wasn't great on the meat, they were large but had a lot of tough fat on them. By far the worst thing we received were the fried pickles! We live less than 5 minutes from the restaurant and the batter on them was sliding off the overcooked pickles and they were so salty we both ate 1 or two and threw them away! Nearly $7 wasted on a salty and soggy pound of fried pickles! Just terrible ! I know they just opened but we really expected...

I rarely leave bad reviews...its got to be pretty awful for me to take time out to tell everyone online about it. I was excited to see another food option near my home so we placed a carryout order. We ordered 3 meals and arrived within 10 minutes of placing the order to the restaurant for pick up. All the meals were cold, we ordered 4 sides of sauce and all were missing from the bag, we discovered after taking a first sip of the drinks that it was just carbonated water and no syrup. The chicken was small, not flavorful, chicken wings were tough, the waffles were ok but cold like the chicken. Just not a good first impression. I can't imagine how many calls this place has received from upset or disappointed customers. ...
