Stopped by here for lunch, around 12:30 on a Saturday. The food was delicious! I got a half-panini bacon turkey sandwich. My hubby got a Buffalo chicken salad on an everything-egg bagel. The chicken salad had a nice smoky flavor, and I don't even usually like chicken salad because I'm not a huge mayo fan. But I could eat a whole plate of this! Everything was so good!!! I got potato salad with mine. I chose the yellow potato salad, although they also offer white. My hubby got the macaroni pasta salad. I tasted it and it was really good too, although he said it had a little more mustard flavor than he prefers. But he still ate it all! LOL They have can and bottled sodas along with water. But that was the only thing that I could say could be improved, the choices of diet/sugar-free beverage options. I would have loved some unsweetened tea. But a bottle of cold water was okay. We decided to get some dessert, a bagel with some of their cream cheese. They had been very busy that morning and were out of quite a few, all the cinnamon and sweet bagels. So I got a plain egg bagel and got some maple cinnamon cream cheese on it. It was delicious! They sliced and toasted it, so the warm bagel and cold cream cheese really was perfection! And they were not stingy at all with the cream cheese! I can't say enough good things about this place. And the fact they do it with a 100% sanitation grade blows me away. I will definitely go back!

This is a small locally owned place on the corner. I enjoyed the coziness and the variety of plants in the window. You order at the counter. Decent sized breakfast and lunch menu. We ordered breakfast at lunch hour. Simple but delicious items. Hash browns good and not greasy. Avocado toast was simple but good. Husband tried the Taylor Ham pork roll on his breakfast sandwich. Tasty so it's worth a try. If you like sodas they have a nice variety in the cooler. We tried the root beer and it didn't disappoint. The staff was very friendly.

1st of all, the owners are as sweet as can be. I am big on customer service and causing people to feel valued and they did just that. 2nd of all, the food is delicious and the price is right! I enjoyed my bagel breakfast and price I paid! 3rdly, I enjoyed the atmosphere and the colors on the inside of the shop! If you're in Lexington, try it for yourself!

Not sure where to begin so I will just cut to the chase, Cross Contamination of the food right in front of our eyes. My wife and I love bagels and we heard about Bagels On Main so we thought we would give it a try. Walked in, waited for the group in front of us to place there order, walked up to the counter and that is where my wife and I were shocked. We watched the older gentleman who eventually took our order, with his gloves finish an order, walk to the register to ring someone up and handles cash, then walks to the raw bacon and grabs handfuls to cook in the microwave, wipes his hands on his clothes, picks up a pen and pad and takes our order. Right there my wife and I were pretty grossed out, but what was to come takes the cake. He reaches in to the fresh bagels and grabs ours not to mention all the bagels his gloves touched. I approached the gentleman to let him know that is unacceptable, and he says "your right, I should of changed my gloves". After being in the restaurant business for a long time, that is totally unacceptable. How many more times that day did he pick up that contaminated pen and pad and then touch food? How many times did it happen earlier that day. My wife and I walked out, hope no one got sick today. I hate to leave reviews like this, but if you own a restaurant or just work in one you know that not changing gloves and not washing hands is one if the best ways to spread illness in...

The only reason I even gave this place ANY stars is because my bagel sandwich was good and because they had a nice farmers market feel with the other items you could purchase. I heard from multiple people to try this place out so me and my fiancé did. As soon as we got there, I looked around and it was filthy, they had barely any bagels left at 11am on a saturday. I wanted an everything bagel and they lady was rude and said " well if you look, you will see that we are out" I let that slide because yes I should've actually backed up from the counter to see if there was any in there basket. I ordered, my fiancé ordered and as I'm looking around I see the lady in the back sweating, making food and with a tank top on. That was quite disturbing! sat down while we waited for our food and I look at the case of bagels and they had "Egg Everything bagels"! Instead of that rude comment I got she could've asked if I would've rather had one of those. AGAIN, we had never been here before and had no direction. They do have stuff you can buy, like glass bottle drinks, different cream cheese, which I thought was cute. Service needs to be better. She didn't even say thank you, have a good day, NOTHING! if these two ladies are the owners then I highly suggest a little more appreciation when customers come in. We MIGHT give this place another chance. Maybe they had a...
