Jimmy The Bartender — Restaurant in Lexington

What an Unexpected find! We have a place on High Rock Lake, and we are always trying to discover new places, and during a wine tour someone mentioned this bar. It’s above a Japanese restaurant. When you walk up the stairs… the atmosphere, the vibe, the lighting, the quality of the drinks… a big surprise. It’s as if you’ve walked into a speakeasy. And it feels full of locals. Which is wonderful! It’s almost like it’s our little secret!

And the drinks are wonderful. They are poured tall, often with ice. This is a refreshing change from the micro drinks we receive at some of the craft cocktail bars in our hometown. My only complaint is that they are not open seven...

Jimmy is an excellent bartender. He's passionate with every drink that his hands touch. He regularly creates new drinks. He strives to try different styles of beverages, such as carbonated drinks, and smoked drinks. He does have a menu, however it best to tell him what you're feeling and he will not disappoint. My wife and I stopped by after dinner for a drink. Jimmy was super friendly and knowledgeable. I had a smoked old fashion and my wife had a drink made with fresh blueberries and gin. Both were fantastic. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great cocktail and...
